هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة دور الجامعات الأردنية الرسمية في تعزيز التربية التحررية لدى طلبتها في ظل التغير الاجتماعي استنادا إلى أفكار "باولو فريري"، تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع طلبة الجامعات الأردنية الحكومية (الأردنية، واليرموك، ومؤته) وقد تم اختيارها قصديا والبالغ عددهم (91019) طالبا وطالبة، في العام الدراسي 2014- 2015، اختيرت منه عينة طبقية عشوائية نسبية من طلبة الجامعات الحكومية الثلاث، إذ بلغ عدد أفرادها (384) طالبا وطالبة، واستخدم فيها المنهج الوصفي، وتم تطوير أداة للتعرف إلى دور الجامعات الأردنية الرسمية في تعزيز التربية التحررية لدى طلبتها في ظل التغير الاجتماعي استنادا إلى أفكار "باولو فريري" من وجهة نظر الطلبة، بالرجوع إلى الأدب النظري وبعض الدراسات ذات الصلة، وقد تكونت بصورتها النهائية من (62) فقرة، تم التحقق من صدق الأداة بعرضها على عشرة محكمين من المختصين وذوي الخبرة في المجالات التربوية والإدارية في بعض الجامعات الأردنية، وتم التأكد من ثبات الدراسة، باستخدام طريقة الاختبار وإعادة الاختبار (test- retest) وطريقة الاتساق الداخلي كرونباخ الفا (cronbach alpha)، وتم الإجابة عن تساؤلات الدراسة من خلال استخدام الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة، وأظهرت النتائج: - أن واقع دور الجامعات الأردنية الرسمية في تعزيز التربية التحررية لدي طلبتها في ظل التغير الاجتماعي استنادا إلي (أفكار باولو فريري) من وجهة نظر الطلبة كان متوسطاً، جاء في الرتبة الأولي مجال "دور نظام التقييم والعلامات"، وفي الرتبة الثانية جاء مجال "دور الأنشطة الطلابية"، وفي الرتبة قبل الأخيرة جاء مجال "القبول الاجتماعي"، وجاء في الرتبة الأخيرة مجال "دور عضو هيئة التدريس"
The current study aimed at finding the role for the public Jordanian universities in the promotion of liberal education among their students in light of social change based on the ideas of " Paulo Freire ".The study sample consisted of all the students of public universities (University of Jordan,Yarmouk University and Mutah University).The study population consisted of (91019) students during the academic year 2014-2015. The study sample was a Random Proportionate Stratified Sample selected from the students of the three universities. The study sample consisted of (384) male and female students. The researcher has applied the descriptive approach, and also has developed a tool to identify the role for the public Jordanian universities in the promotion of liberal education among their students in light of social change based on the ideas of " Paulo Freire " from the students‟ point of view with reference to the theoretical literature and some relative studies. The study tool consisted of (62) items and was verified regarding its reliability and validity having submitted to ten qualified and experienced experts in educational and administrative fields in some universities. The validity of the study tools was verified using test – retest approach and Cronbach alpha. The questions of the current study were answered using the appropriate statistical methodologies. The results of the current study showed the following: -The status of the role for the public Jordanian universities in the promotion of liberal education among their students in light of social change based on the ideas of " Paulo Freire " from the point of view of the students was average, where the field “the role of evaluation and marks system” has ranked first followed by the field “ the role of students‟ activities”, and “university admission” has ranked third , while the field “the role of the faculty member” has ranked last.
