This research aims to identify the extent of the contribution of the development programs applied in electricity and gas distribution Department - Sonelgaz Chlef north- in achieving the desirable organizational change, as well as to examine the extent of the difference in staff orientations towards the applied development programs and organizational change, depending on the age, marital status, educational qualification, career level, and years of experience. To achieve the objectives of the study a questionnaire consisting of three parts was designed, which the first part included, personal and functional variables for individuals of respondents, while the second part was to dedicate for the change and organizational development axis, while the third part were devoted to the resistance to change and organizational development axis. Also appropriate statistical methods were been the used to analyze the study data and test its hypotheses, and in the light of the results that have been reached, has been providing a range of academic and scientific recommendations.
