المستخلص: تعدّ السّلطة ظاهرة اجتماعية اهتمّ بها الإنسان منذ القدم إلى عصرنا هذا، لكن هذا الاهتمام يختلف من عصر إلى آخر، ففي العصور الأولى كانت السّلطة محصورة في المجال السياسي أي في سلطة الحاكم على شعبه، أما في عصرنا الحالي فقد تخطّى الأمر ذلك لاسيما بعد الثورة الصناعية وظهور المؤسسات الكبرى، الأمر الذي توجب وجود نسق من السّلطة التّنظيمية من أجل عملية الضبط والسّهر على السير الحسن للعمل، لذا فإنها تمثل عصب العملية الإدارية. وهذا ما جعل العديد من علماء اجتماع التنظيم يوجّهون أنظارهم نحوها أمثال فيبر، سيمون، سيلزنيك، وكروزيي وغيرهم وقد حاول كلّ منهم تقديم تحليل لها.

Depuis l’antiquité, l’homme s’est intéressé au pouvoir comme un phénomène social, mais son intérêt a changé avec le temps. En effet, le pouvoir était exclusivement lié au domaine politique, décrivant le pouvoir du gouvernement sur le peuple. Actuellement, ce n’est plus le cas, le pouvoir a dépassé le domaine politique après la lutte industrielle et l’apparition des grandes sociétés économiques et donc la nécessité de créer un système de pouvoir organisationnel visant le contrôle du bon déroulement des processus de production dans la société. Ceci a fait du pouvoir le nerf de la fonction administrative et de ce fait sujet d’étude pour plusieurs sociologues comme Weber, Simon, Selznik, Crosier et autres. Chacun a essayé de faire une analyse du pouvoir

Power is a social phenomenon that people have cared about since ancient times, but this interest varies from one era to another. In the early ages, power was confined to the political sphere, namely, the power of the ruler over his people. However, in our present age, this matter changed especially after the industrial revolution and the emergence of large institutions, which necessitated the existence of a format of regulatory authority for the process of control ensuring the good conduct of work, so it represents the essence of the administrative process. This has made many organization sociologists direct their eyes to it, such as Weber, Simon, Selznick, Crozier and others who tried to provide an analysis for it.
