المستخلص: يحاول هذا البحث تقصي حال الأسرة بعد التغيرات التي مستها عبر مراحل مختلفة مرّ بها المجتمع الجزائري، من تطور الحاجات في المجتمع الجزائري وتحوله إلى مجتمع استهلاكي مع انتشار للأسرة النووية إلى ضعف في التكافل والتضامن الاجتماعيين، ثم صعوبة الزواج ومن ثمة تحولات في مفهومه عند الناس وفي العلاقات الزوجية، خاصة مع انتشار أوسع لعمل المرأة و تنامي مصادرها من خلال مساهماتها المتنوعة في تحقيق الاستقرار الأسري. فأردت أن أكتشف كيف يمكن أن تتفاعل هذه التغيرات فيما بينها، وتبين لي أن فردانية المجتمع الحديث هي التي تشكل أزمة الأسرة فيه، وأنها ربما لم تتغلغل بعد في فئات المجتمع الجزائري لكنها تهدد الجيل القادم وبالتالي فإنها تعطي تفسيرا وجيها للطلاق ولتخلي الكثير من الأزواج عن العديد من مسؤولياتهم الأسرية. كما أن التضحية والصبر والتسامح والتنازل وتقدير المسؤولية هي سمات أولئك الذين يتحملون المسؤولية والفرق بين الإثنين يكمن في نظرة كل منهم للزواج وأهدافه منه. إذ تبين أن صعوبة الزواج جعلت منه نجاحا في حد ذاته حتى وأن أفضى للطلاق، أو عجز طرفيه عن تحمل الكثير من تبعاته.

This research attempts to investigate the state of the family after the changes it has experienced through various stages of Algerian society, from the development of the needs within Algerian society and its transformation into a consumer society, with the spread of the nuclear family, to a weakening of social cohesion and solidarity. That is followed by the difficulty of marriage and changes in respect to its conception among the people and within marital relations, especially with the expansion of women's work and the growing resources of women through their diverse contributions in respect to accomplishing family stability. Consequently, I wanted to find out how these changes can interact with each other, whilst it appears to me that it is the individuality of modern society that has formed the family crisis within it. It may not yet have penetrated the sectors of Algerian society, but it threatens the next generation, and consequently provides a valid explanation for the phenomenon of divorce and the abandonment of many couples of their family responsibilities. In addition, sacrifice, patience, tolerance, compromise and appreciation of responsibility are the characteristics of those who bear responsibility and the difference between the two lies in each of their views towards marriage and its objectives. That is because it is evident that the difficulty of marriage made its accomplishment a success in itself, even if it resulted in divorce, or the inability of both parties to bear many of its consequences.
