المستخلص: يتغيا هذا البحث ملامسة جدل أسئلة الهوية في الرواية الجزائرية المعاصرة استنادا إلى روايات واسيني الأعرج، انطلاقا من ثلاثة منظورات متداخلة وظيفيا: الذات منفتحة أو ملتفة على نفسها، علاقة الأنا بالآخر صراعا وتفاعلا، وهوية الفضاء بوصفه هوية مستعارة لهوية وطنية تتنازعها التحولات والامتساخات والانتهاكات السياسية والاجتماعية والثقافية والحضارية. وبنـــاء على ذلك، تدرجت مـــن المأزق الإيديولوجي للهوية الوطنية في روايتي" ضمير الغائب" و"مــــــــا تبقّى من سيرة لخضر حمروش" إلى طمس الهوية الثقافية في رواية"البيت الأندلسيّ"، ثم وقفت على آفاق الهوية في روايتي "كتاب الأمير" و"حارسة الظلال"، وعلى الهوية بوصفها انغلاقا على الذات في رواية "وقع الأحذية الخشنة". وفي الوقت نفسه ترصد هذه الدراسة آليات تظهير هذه الهوية القلقة والممزقة بين هويات متعددة، وبالأحرى المتشظية على تخومها انبهارا واستلابا ونكرانا للانتماء. ممّا يكشف عن أزمة هوية تعيشها الشخصيات بصفة خاصة والمجتمع عامة. وهنا يصبح السؤال المركزي: كيف كتب واسيني الأعرج الهوية الجزائرية سردا وتاريخا. وما حدود انتهاك مرجعياتها داخل العمل السردي المتحوّل العابر للأزمنة والفضاءات والأفكــــار واللغــات ؟

This research is aimed at touching the controversy of questions regarding identity in the contemporary Algerian novel, based on the novels of Wassini Al-Araj, based on three functionally overlapping perspectives: the self is open to itself, the relationship between the ego and the other in conflict and interaction, and the identity of space as a borrowed identity for a national identity that is disputed by transformations in Politics, society, culture and civilization. Accordingly, it has moved from the ideological dilemma of the national identity in the novels of “Conscience of the Absent” and “What is left from the biography of Lakhdar Hamroush” to the obliteration of cultural identity in the novel “The Andalusian House”. Then he addressed the subject of identity in the novel “the Book of the Prince” and “Guardian of Shadows” and on identity as self-locking in the novel “The coarsened shoes fell.” At the same time, this study monitors the mechanisms for the identification of this disturbing identity, which is torn between multiple identities, and rather fragmented on its border with fascism, disorientation and denial of belonging. This reveals an identity crisis experienced by personalities in particular and society in general. And here the central question becomes: how Wassini Al-Araj wrote the Algerian identity as a narrative and history. What are the limits of violating its terms of reference within the transient narrative work, spaces, ideas and languages?
