نشهد اليوم عصرا جديدا يحمل في مضامينه تحديات تفرضها عليه مجموعة من التحولات والتغيرات العالمية والإقليمية والمحلية، ومن أهم المتطلبات الحاسمة للتنمية فيه مسايرة الجامعات لحركة المجتمع وأحداث التغيير الذي يتلاءم مع المعطيات الجديدة إذ يتوقع من الجامعات أن تكون قائدة لعمليات التغيير الاجتماعي والثقافي للمجتمعات الحاضنة لها. لقد تركزت مشكلة البحث الحالي حول تحديد الدور الذي يمكن أن تؤديه الجامعات لتعريز مشاركة المرأة في التنمية من خلال "العمل عن بعد"، وذلك يتطلب الإجابة عن التساؤلات التالية: ما المقصود "بالعمل عن بعد"؟ وما أهم مبررات الاهتمام بالعمل عن بعد ؟، وما أهم متطلباته؟ وما الدور المتوقع للجامعات في تعزيز المشاركة المجتمعية للمرأة من وجهة نظر خطط. التنمية في الدولة؟ ما المقترحات التي يمكن أن تقدمها عضوات هيئة التدريس لتفعيل دور جامعة الأمير سطام بن عبد العزيز في تعزيز المشاركة المجتمعية للمرأة من خلال "العمل عن بعد"؟ والى أي مدى تتفق نتائج الدراسة مع الفلسفة التربوية لجامعة الأمير سطام بن عبد العزيز وخطتها الاستراتيجية؟ تبنت الدراسة الاتجاه الكيفي حيث استخدمت المنهج الوصفي التحليلي من خلال: -تحليل الوثائق ذات العلاقة كخطط التنمية الوطنية، والخطة الاستراتيجية لجامعة الأمير سطام، ووثيقة الفلسفة التربوية لها. -رصد وتحليل الوثائق والدراسات العالمية والعربية والمحلية التي اهتمت بموضوع الدراسة. -إجراء المقابلات الجماعية المركزة مع مجموعة من الأكاديميات من عضوات هيئة التدريس بجامعة الأمير سطام بن عبد العزيز. وخلصت الدراسة إلى بعض النتائج والتوصيات المهمة لما يمكن أن تقدمه الجامعات لتعزيز مشاركة المرأة في التنمية، ودعم المبادرات التي تعزز من فرص عمل المرأة عن بعد وذلك في المحاور الأربع والتي تشكل أساس منظومة مؤسسات التعليم العالي والجامعات (البنية التحتية، والموارد البشرية، والبرامج والأنشطة، والأنظمة والسياسات).
We are witnessing today a new era holds its own challenges posed by a set of transformations and changes the global, regional and local, it is important for universities to keep pace with to society movement and conduct change, which fits with the new changes as expected of universities to be the leader of the processes of social change and cultural communities have the incubator. The problem of current research focuses on determining the role that could be played by universities to promote women's participation in development through "telework", and it requires to answer the following questions: What is meant by "telework"? What the most important justifications that lead us to take care of it? What are its most important requirements? what are the expected roles of universities in promoting community participation of women from the viewpoint of national development plans? What suggestions can be provided by faculty members to activate the role of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in promoting community participation of women through "telework"? And to what extent the results of the study are consistent with the educational philosophy of the University of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz and its Strategic Plan? This study adopted qualitative approach and used descriptive analytical method by: -Analyzing the relevant documents like national development plans, the strategic plan of Salman Bin Abdulaziz University and the document of its educational philosophy, -Monitor and analyze the documents and Global Studies, Arab and local, which focused on the subject of study، -Conducting focus group interviews with 24 female faculty members at Salman bin Abdulaziz University. The study concluded with some important findings and recommendations in what can be offered by universities to promote the participation of women in development, and to support initiatives that promote women's opportunities in telework and that in the four themes which form the basis of higher education institutions and universities system (infrastructure, human resources, and programs and activities, and regulations and policies).
