المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث تحليلاً تطبيقيًّا للعلاقة بين تضاريس منطقة الخرج والمستقبل العمراني لمدينة السيح كحالة دراسة، ويشمل ذلك دراسة لتضاريس المنطقة وللمواقع الجغرافية للتنمية الحضرية الراهنة والمتوقعة في مدينة السيح، ونتيجة لذلك يقدم البحث مواقع مقترحة للتنمية الحضرية المستدامة وتوصيات عملية لتقليل مخاطر السيول الناتجة عن الطبيعة التضاريسية للمنطقة.

This study investigates the relationship between the topography of Alkharj area and future urban development of Alkharj city (Assaih). This includes a study of the topography of the region and the geographical locations of current and future urban development. It lists proposed sites for sustainable urban development and practical recommendations to reduce the risk of flooding which occurs as a result of the topographical nature of the area. This paper analysis the relationship between the terrain of Alkharj Area and future urban development of Alkharj city (Assaih). This includes a study of the topography of the region and the geographical locations of current and projected urban development. As a result, this paper offers proposed sites for sustainable urban development and practical recommendations to reduce the risk of flooding which occur as a result of the nature of the area's terrain.
