المستخلص: The aim of this article is to examine, in the Algerian case and on the basis of the money supply, the velocity of money circulation and the economic growth represented by the GDP, the idea that the volatility of the circulation of money velocity has an influence on the evolution of economic growth. Tests are carried out using a causal test version à la Granger to analyze the relationship direction, if any, between currency velocity and economic growth in Algeria. The data used in this paper are taken from the database constructed by the World Bank covering the period 1960-2012. In this paper, we focus on the causal relationship between the velocity of money circulation and economic growth. This article attempts to make a contribution to the economic literature by using an econometric methodology to study the causality between the two variables. This relatively unusual study in Algeria thus constitutes a noteworthy contribution to the existing studies on the subject.

L’objectif de cet article est d’examiner, dans le cas algérien et sur la base de la masse monétaire, la vitesse de circulation de la monnaie et la croissance économique représentée par le GDP. Selon laquelle la volatilité de la vitesse de circulation de la monnaie influence l’évolution de la croissance économique. Des tests sont effectues en utilisant une version de test de causalité a la Granger, pour analyser le sens de direction de la relation, si elle existe entre la vitesse de circulation de la monnaie et la croissance en Algérie.les données utilisées dans ce papier sont tirées de la base de données réalisée par la banque mondiale, couvrent la période 1960-2012. Dans ce papier, on focalise sur la relation causale entre la vitesse de circulation de la monnaie et la croissance économique. Cet article tente de contribuer a la littérature économique en utilisant une méthodologie économétrique afin d’étudier le sens de causalité entre les deux variables, cette étude qui fait rare de ce genre des études en Algérie, ce qui constitue un apport aux études existantes sur ce sujet.

إن الهدف من هذه المقالة هو دراسة -في الحالة الجزائرية وعلى أساس عرض النقود -سرعة تداول الأموال والنمو الاقتصادي المتمثل في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، وهذا يعني أن فكرة تذبذب سرعة تداول النقود له تأثير على تطور النمو الاقتصادي. يتم إجراء الاختبارات باستخدام نسخة اختبار سببية Granger لتحليل اتجاه العلاقة، إن وجد، بين سرعة العملة والنمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر. ومن الجدير بالذكر أن البيانات المستخدمة في هذه الورقة مأخوذة من قاعدة البيانات التي أنشأها البنك الدولي، والتي تغطي الفترة ما بين 1960-2012. في هذه الورقة البحثية، سنركز على العلاقة السببية بين سرعة تداول الأموال والنمو الاقتصادي. كما تحاول هذه المقالة تقديم مساهمة في الأدبيات الاقتصادية باستخدام منهجية الاقتصاد القياسي لدراسة العلاقة السببية بين المتغيرين. ولهذا، فإن هذه الدراسة، غير المعتادة نسبيا في الجزائر، تساهم مساهمة جديرة بالاهتمام في الدراسات القائمة حول هذا الموضوع. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
