The article aims at presenting a reading in the book "Enrique Dussel L'étique de la libération a l'ère de la mondialisation et de l'exclusion". The book is characterized by a remarkable philosophical and sociological pedagogical intensity, where the author moved from the essence of life and the concept of goodness in Aristotle, the special desires and theory of forms in Plato, to the philosophy of law and the concept of ethics with structure, the philosophy of power in Nietzsche. It also discussed the concept of management and metaphysical desire in Levinas, the moral mind in Kant, the concept of hegemony in Antonio Gramsci, the concept of subconscious in Sigmund Freud, the critique of the modern intellectual mind and rationalism in the Frankfurt School pioneers, and the political economy and capitalist criticism in Karl Marx. It also clarified the role of religious values in the economic system in Max Weber, the open society and its enemies in Karl Popper, the archeology of knowledge with Michel Foucault, who is very insistent to highlight the relationship of science and the scientific knowledge with its historical and social condition and its cultural context. He criticizes the scientific mind, despite his awareness that the strategic mind plays an irreplaceable role in ethics, and he exposes the various manifestations of the imbalances of the globalized capitalist system. The article dealt with several elements, namely: firstly moving from the ethological ethics to the ethics of liberation. Secondly the philosophy of liberation between Marxism and the Liberation theology.
