المستخلص: هذا البحث محاولة في الكشف عن الدلالات الاحتمالية في متن لغوي عرف هو ومؤلفه بالشهرة. وآثر الباحث في دراسته علي بيان الدلالات الاحتمالية، وأرجع كل احتمالية إلى جهة لغوية، فكانت مرجع الدلالة توجه اللفظ إلى معنيين أو أكثر أو مرجعها تعدد الوجوه الإعرابية بسب تقارب الوظائف النحوية. وقد يكون مرجع الاحتمالية الاشتراك في الصيغ الصرفية، أو أن مرجع الاحتمالية يعود إلى تغير السياق لبعض الأدوات النحوية، واعتمد البحث على آراء النحاة المتقدمين وأصحاب التفسير وكتب المعاني فضلا على الاستئناس بآراء المحدثين.
