|b Contemporary trends in higher education development have proved that the academic staff members play multiple roles that vary according to all that satisfies the needs of the learner, responds to the educational policy, and matches with the developments especially in an era of rapid transformation. Hence, higher education institutions should select the academic staff members well and train them to improve their academic and professional capabilities. The study will attempt to answer many questions related to explore way findings in drawing the road map (strategies) to confront these new up to date challenges, in order to promote the quality of confrontation, to stay the academic instructor, in his (her) right place, leading the societies progressive role in facing these new emerged challenges. To achieve these big and main duties, the study relied upon the deductive methodology, besides of the theories background and related literatures, concerned with various interrelated attributes of higher educations, (administration, academic staff - instructors-. And students), depending upon new attitudes concerns. These attributes such as information technologies, critical thinking, reflective teaching, team work, and university's administrations role... The objectives will achieved through many strategies as a (road map), to confront challenges facing the university’s instructors in the contemporary era described with big and rapid transformations in all sides of life... Problem identification: The higher education institutions has been faced more social, regional, and international challenges that call for the improvement of the academic staff performance in terms of institutional strategic planning. The absence of the comprehensive vision, how to confront these new and contemporary challenges, that takes the response to the current stage necessities in to consideration forms the study's problem... So, the study will attempt to draw the vision with comprehensive structure to promote in strengthening the capabilities, and to reveal institutional, personal and scientific potentialities for the academic instructors... Significance of the Study: This study is an attempt to answer the following questions: 1. What are the perspectives and the attitudes that must be launched on in relation to the development of academic staff performance at the current stage? 2. What capabilities and transformation are worth focusing on as part of the development of academic staff performance? 3. What strategies can contribute to the improvement of the performance of the academic staff?
