|f The purpose of this article was to shed light on a set of Fatwas of the Standing Committee for the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, including: Firstly, it discussed the judgment of the performance of Takbir (Verbal glorification of Allah) in prayers. It also mentioned whether it is better to distinguish Takbir by middle and last Tashahhud (Testimony of Faith). The judgment declared that the origin is not to distinguish between the Takbirs in prayer. Secondly, the article discussed the judgment of looking up towards the sky while praying and whether it invalidate the prayer, disapproved or it doesn't affect our prayer. It also addressed the judgment of few and exaggerating movements in prayer and the hand signals during prayer. The judgment declared that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that looking up towards the sky is prohibited during prayer but it doesn't nullify the prayer. The prophet also mentioned that moving during the performance of the prayer is forbidden and as for the hand signals it is permitted when necessary. Thirdly, the article mentioned the judgment of the prayer's looking at his bowing, prostration and Tashahhud position in Prayer. The judgment declared that the prayer has to look at prostration position while bowing, he has look at the sign positing during Tashahhud. In addition, the prayer has to look in front of his eyes while prostrating. Fourthly, it addressed the judgment of shutting the eyes in prayer, whether during standing, bowing or prostrating. The judgment said it is disapproved. Fifthly, the article tackled the judgment of the possibility of a Muslim to pray when he wants to relieve oneself. The judgment declared that this is not permissible. Sixthly, the article discussed the judgment of looking at the right or the left sides during praying and the judgment said that it is prohibited, but it is not necessary to re-perform the prayer. Seventhly, regarding the submissiveness while praying and reading the Quraan, how they should be done, and the judgment was that it is necessary to seek help from Allah in providing your heart with submissiveness while praying. Eighthly, the article turned to the judgment of on leaving the prayer while seeing a snake or a scorpion, and the judgment came by the necessity of leaving the prayer to kill the snake or scorpion. Ninthly, the article addressed the judgment of leaving the prayer to answer the phone or open the door of the apartment for comers.
