المستخلص: The study aims to find out the level of availability of the necessary requirements for the production of knowledge as an input to build a competitive advantage in the University of Hail from the perspective of the academic leadership. In addition, the study seeks to show that the statistically significant differences relating to the level of availability of the necessary requirements for the production of knowledge as an input to build a competitive advantage in the University of Hail from the perspective of the academic leadership depends on the variables of the study (gender, years of experience in the leadership work and nature of leadership work). The study followed a descriptive quantitative approach and its sample consisted of (135) academic leadership from the University of Hail. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The main results of the study show that there is a medium level of availability of the necessary requirements of knowledge production as an input to build a competitive advantage at the University of Hail in general with an average level of 2.86. Also, the absence of statistically significant differences between the responses can be explained by the different nature of the leadership positions of the participants of the study. However, there are statistically significant differences between the participants of the study at the level (a=0.05) in terms of the material requirements which are for the benefit of the higher leadership. The study highly recommends to work on building an integrated organizational structure to manage the production of knowledge in the university

تهدف الدراسة إلى تعرف درجة توافر المتطلبات اللازمة لإنتاج المعرفة كمدخل لبناء ميزة تنافسية في جامعة حائل من وجهة نظر قياداتها الأكاديمية، ومعرفة الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية حول درجة المتطلبات اللازمة لإنتاج المعرفة كمدخل لبناء ميزة تنافسية في جامعة حائل من وجهة نظر قياداتها الأكاديمية تعود لمتغيرات الدراسة (الجنس، سنوات الخدمة في العمل القيادي، طبيعة العمل القيادي)، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتم التطبيق على عينة عددها (135) فردا، وتم استخدام برنامج التحليل الإحصائي (SPSS) لمعالجة البيانات. وكانت أبرز النتائج أن الدرجة الكلية لتوافر المتطلبات اللازمة لإنتاج المعرفة كمدخل لبناء ميزة تنافسية في جامعة حائل بشكل عام جاءت متوسطة بمتوسط حسابي مقداره (2.86). وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعود لاختلاف طبيعة العمل القيادي لأفراد العينة. بينما توجد فروق ذات دالة عند مستوى (0.05=a) في محور المتطلبات المادية بين أفراد عينة وذلك لصالح عينة (قيادات عليا). وقد أوصت الدراسة بضرورة العمل على بناء هيكل تنظيمي متكامل لإدارة الإنتاج المعرفي في الجامعة.
