تأتي أهمية هذا البحث من أهمية الكفاية المهنية، التي تؤكد على ان المعلمة هي العنصر الفعال في العملية التربوية، التي توفر المناخ التعليمي والاجتماعي والنفسي الذي يساعد على تحقيق الأهداف التربوية، واقتصر البحث الحالي على معلمات رياض الأطفال في محافظة البصرة للعام الدراسي (2012-2013) لتحديد الكفايات المهنية اللازمة لدى معلمة رياض الأطفال، وتكون مجتمع البحث من (142) معلمة من معلمات رياض الأطفال وتكونت العينة من (40) معلمة ومعلمات رياض الأطفال وبنسبة (28%) من مجتمع البحث، وقان الباحثان باستخدام الأستبانة كأداة لجمع المعلومات لتحقيق الأهداف، وتوصل الباحثان إلى قائمة بالكفايات المهنية، وبلغ عددها (25) كفاية موزعة على أربعة مجالات وهي (إدارة الصف، الصفات الشخصية، التقويم، التخطيط). وقد استنتج الباحثان:- 1- بروز أهمية الكفايات المهنية في الوقت الحاضر نتيجة انعاكسات عوامل التغيير الاجتماعي والثقافي والإداري علي العملية التربوية عامة والعملية التعليمية داخل رياض الأطفال بصورة خاصة. 2- تمثل مجالات (إدارة الصف ، والصفات الشخصية، والتقويم، والتخطيط): وإنها مكون عام يتضمن مجموعة مترابطة من الكفايات يتم تحديدها بصورة دقيقة بدلالة سلوك ظاهر وأداء محدد.
The importance of this research comes from the importance of professional competence, which confirms that the parameter is the active ingredient in the educational process ,which provides educational and social climate and psychological help to achieve educational goals. And limited current research on kindergartens in the province of Basra for the academic year (2012-2013) To determine the professional competence necessary to the teacher kindergarten, and be the research community of the (142) parameter of the kindergarten teachers and the sample consisted of (40) parameter of the Kindergarten teachers and by (28%) of the research community ,and the researchers using the questionnaire as a tool to gather information to achieve the objectives , and the researcher to the list of competencies professional and numbered (25) the adequacy distributed on four areas, namely (classroom management, personal qualities, calendar, planning) and concluded the researchers:- - the emergence of the importance of professional competence in the present time as a result of the implications of social change agents and administrative educational process in general and the educational process within the kindergarten, in particular, - represent areas (classroom management, and personal qualities ,calendar, and planning) system are important in the educational process as one of the component in containing a coherent set of competencies to be determined accurately in terms of the behavior of visible and specific performance
