المستخلص: This study focused on the reality of literacy and adult education in Algeria. The main objective of this study was to identify the extent to which illiterate persons enrolled in literacy centres face difficulties related to these centres, In addition to these difficulties associated with the educational process, highlighting the main reasons for their enrolment. The results of the study indicate that there are no difficulties faced by those enrolled in literacy centres owing to the variables in the nature of literacy centres and the educational process.

Cette étude s’est intéressée au sujet de l'alphabétisation et de l'éducation des adultes en Algérie. L’objectif principal étant de déterminer les moyens permettant aux analphabètes des centres d'anathématisation a mieux surmonter les problèmes poses par la processus d'éducation des adultes tout en mettant en exergue leurs motivations a s'inscrire au sein de ces centres. Les résultats de cette étude indiquent aussi qu'il n y a pas des difficultés rencontres par les inscrits analphabètes comme elles peuvent être attribués à deux variables: la nature du centre et l'éducation en elles-mêmes.

اهتمت هذه الدراسة بموضوع واقع محو الأمية وتعليم الكبار في الجزائر وكان الهدف، الأساسي منها هو التعرف على مدى مواجهة الأميين الملتحقين بمراكز محو الأمية لصعوبات متعلقة بتلك المراكز إضافة إلى تلك، الصعوبات المتعلقة بالعملية التعليمية، مع إبراز أهم دوافع التحاقهم بها. وتشير نتائج الدراسة إلى عدم وجود صعوبات تواجه الملتحقين بمراكز محو الأمية تعزى إلي متغيري؛ طبيعة مراكز محو الأمية والى العملية التعليمية.
