المستخلص: شهدت العقود الأخيرة تغيرات كبيرة صاحبها الكثير من التحولات المهمة حيث وضح جلبا امتلاك الأبناء مهارة التعامل مع هذه التقنيات من سرعة في الاستخدام وقدرة على الكتابة والبحث عن المعلومة بصرف النظر عن قيمتها ومدى موضوعتيها. كما أن هناك مزاحمة بين الكتاب الورقي من ناحية والإلكتروني من ناحية، وبينهما وبين تقنيات التواصل الاجتماعي. وكل ما سبق يفرض على المؤسسات التعليمية إعداد طلابها لمجابهة التطورات الجديدة خاصة تقنيات التواصل الاجتماعي التفاعلية بالبحث في كيفية بالبحث في كيفية استثمار هذه التقنيات في دعم القراءة الحرة كخوة للوصل لمجتمع المعرفة. وتتلخص مشكلة الدراسة في تصور مقترح لاستثمار وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في نشر القراءة الحرة وتوظيفها في التعليم، وتركز الدراسة على محاولة مواجهة مزاحمة وسائط التواصل الاجتماعي وإشغالها للفرد عن القراءة الحرة بحيث تكون هي الوسيلة للقراءة وليس الانشغال عنها. كما تركز التعليم العام وهو يمثل وضع الأساس في التربية الأبناء وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وقد تم تصميم استبانة خاصة لقياس أراء الطلاب والمعلمين نحو آليات استثمار التقنية لدعم القراءة الحرة. بما يدعم الدراسة الحالية. كما تري عينة الدراسة وجوب أن تبني كافة القرارات المتخذة على الحوار والنقاش. كما أنه لضمان أن المادة المرسلة علمية، فيجب أن تكون الرقابة الذاتية للأعضاء هي الأولي. ومن أهم توصيات الدراسة: أن تأخذ المدارس بأولية التجريب، وتربية الأبناء على أنه لا فكرة خاطئة إلا بالتجريب والتكرار، فلا يمنع تلميذ من استخدام التقنية دون مبرر مرجعتيه مشروعة.
