المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور المخيمات الصيفية بالجامعات الفلسطينية في تعزيز العمل التطوعي من وجهة نظر طلبة جامعة الأقصى، فضلا عن تحديد ما إذا كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في استجابات أفراد العينة تعزى إلى متغيرات الجنس والتخصص والمستوى الدراسي ومكان السكن. وقد اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي بالاعتماد على أداة الاستبانة التي أعدها الباحثون لجمع المعلومات. وقد وزعت الاستبانة على عينة قوامها (378) من طلبة جامعة الأقصى. وكانت أهم نتائج الدراسة هي أن الطلبة يعتقدون بان المخيمات الصيفية بالجامعات الفلسطينية يؤدى دوراً إيجابياً في تعزيز العمل التطوعي بوزن نسبي (83.37%). كما بينت الدراسة أن أكثر الأعمال التطوعية التي شارك فيها الطلبة هي حملات عناية البيئة، والمساهمة في أعمال الخير، وحملات التوعية المرورية، وحملات مساعدة ورعاية الفقراء. وان أكثر القيم التي شملها برنامج العمل التطوعي في المخيم تمثلت بقيمة التعاون تلاها قيمة المشاركة ثم الانتماء فالتسامح والإيجابية ثم قبول الآخر والمسئولية المجتمعية وأخيراً قيمة الولاء. ومن النتائج أيضأ أنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في استجابات أفراد العينة تعزى لمتغيري الجنس والتخصص، في حين كان هناك فروق دالة إحصائيأ في استجابات أفراد العينة تعزى لمتغير المستوى لصالح المستوى الرابع. وكذلك متغير مكان السكن بين الشمال ورفح لصالح رفح، وبين الشمال وخان يونس لصالح خان يونس وبين الشمال وغزة لصالح غزة.

The study aimed to identify the role of summer camps in Palestinian universities in the promotion of voluntary work from the Al-Aqsa University's students' point of view. The study also aimed to determine whether there were statistically significant differences in the responses of the individuals of the sample due to the differences in gender, specialization, educational level and place of residence. The study followed the descriptive approach based on the questionnaire prepared by the researchers to collect the information.
The questionnaire was distributed among a sample of (378) students from Al-Aqsa University. The most important results of the study showed that the students believe that summer camps in Palestinian universities play a positive role in the promotion of voluntary work with a relative weight of (83.37%). The study also showed that the most of the voluntary works which the students participated in were campaigns initiated by them to create environmental and traffic awareness as well as to call others to participate in charitable activities like helping and taking care of the poor.
Most of the values of the voluntary work program in the camp included the value of cooperation followed by the value of participation, affiliation, tolerance, positivity, acceptance of the other, social responsibility and loyalty. It was also found that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the individuals of the sample due to difference in gender and specialization. While there were statistically significant differences in the responses of the individuals of the sample due to the different level in favor of the fourth level. Similarly, the variable of the place of residence between the north and Rafah in favor of Rafah, between the north and Khan Yunis in favor of Khan Younis and between the north and Gaza in favor of Gaza.
