هدف هذا البحث إلي تقويم جودة العملية التعليمية في برنامج رياض الأطفال من وجهة نظر الطالبات، وتكونت عينة البحث من (168) طالبة من قسم رياض الأطفال بكلية التربية بجامعة الطائف، وقدم لهن استبانة تقويم قسم رياض الأطفال والتي تكونت من ستة مجالات أساسية ممثلة لجودة التعليم تتمثل في أهمية الخطة الدراسية، وطبيعة مقررات الخطة الدراسية، ومدي التزام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجودة التدريس وجودة تقييم الطالبات وجودة المقرر الدراسي وجودة التدريب الميداني، وتوصلت النتائج إلى مقرر التربية العملية لرياض الأطفال، وطرق تدريس رياض أطفال (1)، طرفي تدريس رياض أطفال (2)، وصحة الطفل والإسعافات الأولية، وعلم نفس النمو من أكثر المقررات أهمية لديهن، وجاءت مادتا المدخل إلى رياض الأطفال، والثقافة الإسلامية (3) في التربيب الأخير من حيث الأهمية من وجهة نظر الطالبات، نظرا لكونها مقررات نظرية، أما من حيث المقررات ذات الطابع العملي فاتفق جميع الطالبات على مقرر التربية العملية لرياض الأطفال، أما ما يتعلق بالمقررات النظرية غير القابلة للتطبيق من وجهة نظر الطالبات فاتفق معظم الطالبات أنها تتمثل في الإشراف التربوي والفني، واستخدام الكمبيوتر التعليمي، وإسهامات علماء المسلمين في تربية الطفل، وإدارة وتنظيم رياض الأطفال، وفي مجال جودة التدريس فكانت وجهة نظر الطالبات أن أعضاء هيئة التدريس يهتمون بتكليف الطالبات بإعداد البحوث التواجد خلال الساعات المكتبية والمشورة خلال الإرشاد الأكاديمي، ومن أوجه القصور عدم اهتمامهم باستخدام الحاسوب في التدريس، أو استخدام أجهزة العرض فوق الرأس، أو استخدام طرق تدريس تراعي الفروق الفردية في المرتبة الأخيرة، ومن حيث جودة التقييم فقد أهتم أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالأسئلة الموضوعية والمقالية خلال التقييم وكانت أساليب التقييم تتصف بالموضوعية وعدم التحيز وأسئلة الاختبار تتصف بالشمولية لجميع أجزاء المقرر، ومن أوجه القصور أتقق معظم الطالبات على أن صياغات الأسئلة في الاختبارات لم تكن على الشكل المطلوب، أما التقييم الشفهي لا يتم على أكمل وجه، كما أن الطالبات لا يعرفن نوعيات أسئلة التقييم منذ بداية العام، وأما عن جودة المقرر الدراسي. فأتفق معظم الطالبات أن أعضاء هيئة التدريس يلتزموا بالتوصيف المعلن في بداية الفصل الدراسي ويعتمدوا على الأسئلة والمناقشة، وأما ما يتعلق بجودة التربية العملية يتضح أن القسم يهتم بإعطاء دورات توعية للطالبات في بداية الفصل الدراسي عن ما يتم خلال التربية العملية، وأن ما يدرسن خلال المحاضرات يفيدهن خلال التربية العملية وأن أعضاء هيئة التدريس يهتمون بالزيارات الدائمة خلال التدريب الميداني، وأن هناك اهتمام من القسم باختيار رياض الأطفال التي يتم فيها التدريب الميداني، ومن أوجه القصور هو عدم دقة أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الاطلاع على دفاتر التحضير الخاصة بالطالبات، وعدم اهتمامهم بأن يتم تقييم الطالبة لزميلتها.
