|a يهدف البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن تضمين محتوى كتابي الكيمياء والفيزياء للصف الثاني المتوسط لمتطلبات اختبار (Timss)، وقد اتبع الباحثان أسلوب تحليل المحتوى أحد أساليب المنهج الوصفي واعتمدا الفكرة الصريحة كوحدة للتسجيل، وتصميم أداة تحليل محتوى خاصة لذلك ثم عرضها على مجموعة من المحكمين والمتخصصين لتستوفي شروط الصدق، وتكونت بصورتها النهائية من مجالين رئيسين يتضمن المجال الأول بعدين والمجال الثاني ثلاث أبعاد ويتضمن كلاهما (94) قضية فرعية، وبلغ عدد الصفحات المحللة (252) صفحة وبعد الانتهاء من التحليل والتأكد من صدقة وثباته باستخدام معادلة كوبر بالإضافة إلى استخدام التكرارات والنسب المئوية للمعالجة الإحصائية، تم التوصل تفوق نسبة التحليل لمجال متطلبات العلوم لكتابي الكيمياء والفيزياء على النسبة المحددة من قبل دراسة (Timss, 2011)، وتفوق نسبة التحليل لمجال متطلبات المعرفة في كتابي الكيمياء والفيزياء على النسبة المحددة من قبل دراسة(Timss, 2011) ، وتساوي نسبة التحليل لمجال متطلبات التطبيق في كتاب الفيزياء على النسبة المحددة من قبل دراسة (Timss, 2011) بينما تتفوق عليها نسبة التحليل في كتاب الكيمياء، وانخفاض نسبة التحليل لمجال متطلبات التحليل والاستدلال لكتابي الكيمياء والفيزياء على النسبة المحددة من قبل دراسة (Timss, 2011)
