المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة تحديد أهم الكفايات اللازمة لمديري مدارس التعليم العام بدولة الكويت للعمل القيادي التربوي من وجهة نظر الطالبات المعلمات بكلية التربية الأساسية بالهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب وتحديد أهم الوسائل التي يمكن من خلالها تنمية الكفايات القيادية للقيام بالدور المطلوب، والكشف عن ما إذا كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات استجابات الطالبات المعلمات بكلية التربية الأساسية بالهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب (عينة الدراسة) في تحديدهن لأهم الكفايات اللازمة لمديري مدارس التعليم العام بدولة الكويت للقيادة التربوية ووسائل تنميتها والتي قد تعزى إلى تخصصهن ومحافظة سكنهن. \\\\ ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قامت الباحثة ببناء استبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات وتم التأكد من صدق الأداة والتحقق من ثباتها، وتم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي منهجا للدراسة. \\\\ وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع الطالبات المعلمات المقيدات في السنة الرابعة بكلية التربية الأساسية في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي بدولة الكويت للعام الجامعي2015/2016 وهن من قمن بالتدريب العملي في مدارس وزارة التربية بدولة الكويت، وقد تم اختيار عينة عشوائية تمثل المجتمع الأصلي بلغ قوامها(338) طالبة من إجمالي(915) طالبة هن قوام مجتمع الدراسة وبنسبة مئوية بلغت (37%)

The study aimed to identify the most important competencies required for principals of general education schools in the State of Kuwait for educational leadership work from the point of view of female student teachers in the College of Basic Education of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, to identify the most important means through which leadership competencies can be developed to fulfill the required role, and to reveal whether there are statistically significance differences between the average responses of female student teachers in the College of Basic Education of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (study sample) in their identification of the most important competencies required for principals of general education schools in the State of Kuwait for educational leadership and means of their development, which may be attributed to their specialization and the governorate of their residence.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher built a questionnaire as a tool to collect data. The validity and the reliability of the tool were verified. The descriptive analytical approach was used as a method for the study.
The study population consisted of all female student teachers enrolled in the fourth year of the College of Basic Education in the Public Authority for Applied Education in the State of Kuwait for the academic year 2015/2016, who conducted practical training in the schools of the Ministry of Education in the State of Kuwait. A random sample representing the original community was selected (338) female students out of a total of (915) female students who are the core of the study population, with a percentage of (37%).
