أهداف الدراسة: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تقصي أثر استخدام تقنية Shwo me الإلكترونية في تدريس مقرر اللغة الإنجليزية على تحصيل طلاب الصف الثاني المتوسط عند مستويات المعرفية الدنيا: التذكر، والفهم، والتطبيق، وأيضاً عمل دليل إرشادي للمعلم والطالب عن كيفية استخدام تقنية Show me الإلكترونية. منهج الدراسة وعينتها: واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي وشبه التجريبي وذلك لقياس أثر المتغير المستقل التعلم المدمج والمتمثل في اجمع بين استخدام تقنية Show me والطريقة التقليدية على المتغير التابع التحصيل الدراسي عند مستوى التذكر والفهم والتطبيق على مجموعتين تجريبية وضابطة، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من 60 طالب من طلاب الصف الثاني المتوسط ممن يدرسون منهج Wonderful wordl4 في اللغة الإنجليزية في الفصل الدراسي الثاني عام 1435، وقد استخدم الباحث اختبار تحصيلي كأداة لهذه الدراسة. نتائج الدراسة: توصلت الدراسة إلى أنه توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات تحصيل الطلاب الذين درسوا اللغة الإنجليزية باستخدام تقنية Show me وبين مستوى درجات الطلاب الذين درسوا من خلال الطريقة التقليدية عند مستوى التذكر الفهم والتطبيق وعند المستويات الثلاثة مجتمعة لصالح المجموعة التجريبية التي استخدمت تقنية Show me. توصيات الدراسة: -الاستفادة من التقنيات الحديثة وتطبيقاتها مثل تقنية Show me في تدريس مقررات اللغة الإنجليزية في التعليم العام. -تدريب معلمي اللغة الإنجليزية على استخدام التقنيات الحديثة في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية كتقنية Show me. -توفير الدعم المادي للتقنيات المتطورة والحديثة في التعليم، لما لها من آثار إيجابية على التحصيل الدراسي. -تدريب الطلاب على كيفية استخدام تقنية Show me كأداة مساندة في التعليم. مقترحات الدراسة: -أثر استخدام تقنية Show me الإلكترونية على التحصيل في مادة العلوم أو لغتي أو أي مادة أخرى. -فاعلية استخدام تقنية Show me في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى متعلمي اللغة. -فاعلية تقنية Show me الإلكترونية على تنمية مهارات الاستماع في مادة اللغة الإنجليزية للصف الثاني المتوسط.
Title of the Study: The Effect of Using the ‘Show me’ Technology on the Performance of the Intermediate-level students of the English Language The Name of the Researcher: Anas abdulatif alkhateeb. University: Imam Muhmmad Ibn Saud Islamic University-faculty of Social Science- the department of curriculum and teaching methods-Riyadh Purpose of the study: the current study aimed at investigating The effect of using the ‘Show me’ technology on the performance of the intermediate- level students of the English Language in terms of Bloom’s cognitive levels: Knowledge, Comprehension, and Application. It also aimed at providing a guide for both teachers and students of how to use this technology. Methods and sample of the study: the researcher used the descriptive and the quasi-experimental methods in order to measure the effect of the independent variable of the blended learning represented by using both the ‘show me’ technology and traditional approach on the dependent variable of the academic achievement with reference to the levels of knowledge, comprehension and application. The sample of the study consisted of 60 secondary intermediate-level students who are taking ‘Wonderful World’ in the English Language in the second semester of 1435; the researcher used an achievement test a tool for this study. Results of the study: the study shows that there are some statistical differences between the average grades of the students who studied the English Language using the ‘show me’ technology, and the those who studied the English Language using the traditional approach in terms of the levels of knowledge, comprehension and application; and in terms of the same levels altogether for the experimental group that used the ‘show me’ technology. Recommendations of the study: - Benefiting from the modem technologies such as ‘show me’ in teaching the English Language curriculum -Training the English Language teachers on using the modem technologies in teaching the English Language. -Providing the financial support for the modem and developed technologies learning. -Training students on how to use the ‘show me’ technology’ as a helping tool in learning. Suggestions of the Study: -the effect of using the ‘show me’ technology in the subject of science or any other subject. -The effectiveness of using the ‘show me’ technology in developing the critical thinking skills for the language learners. -The effectiveness of using the ‘show me’ electronic technology in developing the listening skills in the English Language subject in the second intermediate gra.
