|b The relationship uniting Morocco and France is analyzed in this paper through the lens of migration, a phenomenon that developed and grew during the establishment of the French Protectorate in Morocco. The French policy aimed to maintain its security, build its economy, and safeguard its strategic interests. From that perspective, the article presents a picture of the elements and parameters that created Moroccan emigration and of its patterns and the position of youth in its topology, whilst being careful not to overlook the historical and contemporary features of Moroccan emigration.

|a تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز خصوصية العلاقة التي جمعت المغرب وفرنسا من منظار مسألة الهجرة. وكانت هذه الأخيرة قد نشأت ونمت في اللحظة التي أضحى فيها المغرب جزءا من السياسة العمومية الفرنسية الهادفة إلى حفظ أمنها وبناء اقتصادها ورعاية مصالحها الاستراتيجية. من هذا المنطلق، تقدم الدراسة صورة عن العناصر/المحددات التي صنعت الهجرة المغربية، وعن نماذجها، وعن موقع الشباب ضمن (خرائطيتها)، هذا من دون إغفال الإشارة إلى تمفصل التاريخي بالراهن، ما دام الأمر يتعلق بتيمة مركبة تجمع بين عناصر القطيعة؛ لكنها في الآن ذاته تحافظ على جزء كبير من (ثوابت) الاستمرارية.
