المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقويم مدى نجاعة السياسة التسعيرية لمياه الشرب في الجزائر من خلال التركيز على مختلف الآثار الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية المترتبة عن تطبيق هذه السياسة. تم استعراض قضايا التسعير من خلال المفاهيم والمبادئ الاقتصادية مع مراعاة مجمل الاعتبارات الاجتماعية والبيئية عند استخدام الأدوات الاقتصادية في التحليل. من بين النتائج التي أفضت إليها الدراسة أن نظام تسعير مياه الشرب المطبق في الجزائر أقل كفاءة، ولا يعكس تماما واقع التكاليف الفعلية، ولا يستجيب بالشكل الكامل لكل المتطلبات والضوابط التي يقتضيها التسعير المستدام لمياه الشرب

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of the pricing policy of drinking water in Algeria. We also examine the economic, social and environmental impacts resulting from this policy. The stakes of pricing were presented through economic concepts and principles, taking into account the social and environmental considerations with respect to the use of economic tools. We found that the pricing system of drinking water applied in Algeria is less effective and unable to cover all actual costs. Moreover, it fails to address needs and standards imposed by the sustainable pricing of drinking water.

L'objet de cette étude est d'évaluer l'efficience de la politique tarifaire de l'eau potable en Algérie, en mettant l'accent sur les impacts économique, social et environnemental résultant de cette politique. Les enjeux de la tarification ont été présentés à travers des concepts et des principes économiques, en tenant compte des considérations sociales et environnementales quant à l’utilisation d’outils économiques. Nous avons ainsi constaté que le système tarifaire de l'eau potable appliqué en Algérie est moins efficace et incapable de couvrir l'ensemble des coûts effectifs. Il ne répond pas aux besoins et aux normes imposées par la tarification durable de l'eau potable.
