|b The study aimed at identifying explore the role of the external evaluation in developing the performance of education colleges in the Palestinian universities in Gaza governorates from the perspective of the teaching faculty members. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher designed a questionnaire included (64) items and it was distributed to a sample consisted of (183) members. recovered them (146) questionnaire, and the researcher used appropriate statistical processors in data collection and analysis. The study concluded that the role of the external evaluation in the development of the performance of education colleges was rated as high the relative weight of their ratings was recorded at 68.37%. The researcher has drawn up the following recommendation To lay down specific and systematic mechanisms to ensure a wider participation of the teaching faculty members and students in formulating the vision and mission of the university, as such participation will have a great impact on the different aspects of work.

|a هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور التقييم الخارجي في تطوير أداء كليات التربية في الجامعات الفلسطينية بمحافظات غزة من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قامت الباحثة بتصميم استبانة تكونت من (64) فقرة، وزعت على عينة مكونة من (183) عضواً، استرد منها (146) استبانة، واستخدمت الباحثة المعالجة الإحصائية المناسبة في جمع وتحليل البيانات. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن دور التقييم الخارجي في تطوير أداء كليات التربية جاء بدرجة كبيرة حيث حصلت على وزن نسبي (68.37%). وتوصي الباحثة بوضع آليات محددة وممنهجة تضمن مشاركة أوسع لأعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلبة عند صياغة رؤية ورسالة الجامعة، لما لها من اثر في جوانب العمل المختلفة.
