المستخلص: This study aims to clarify the care provided to the orphan Jews by the Ottoman Empire in Jerusalem throughout the Sharia Court Records, This study searches various matters related to the property of Jewish orphans from several aspects; such as information on their properties locations, quality of the area, and officially registered in the government circles and numbers of their property bonds, The study also aims to identify the Sharia court proceedings inauguration of the guardian of the orphans and the verification of their ability to manage the properties of orphans properly. The study examines addition to the above in cases in which the court authorizes whereby the guardian to manage orphans properties under specific conditions, and determine the share of orphans strictly in terms of financial value, showing keenness of the Ottoman Empire and the interest of their nationals all of all the cults, religions, in order to confirm that the Ottoman state treat all citizens equally and apply the law fairly on all nations under its control.

أن الهدف من الدراسة هو إلقاء الضوء على الرعاية التي حظي بها الأيتام اليهود في مدينة القدس في خام العهد العثماني، وذلك بالاعتماد على مصدر أساسي وأصيل هو سجلات المحكمة الشرعية في مدينة القدس، وسيتناول البحث أملاك الأيتام اليهود من عدة جوانب، كمعرفة أماكن تركز أملاكهم ونوعيتها ومساحتها، وتسجيلها رسميا في دوائر الحكومة وأرقام سندات ممتلكاتهم، كما تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على إجراءات المحكمة الشرعية بتنصيب الوصي على الأيتام والتحقق من قدرته على إدارة أملاك الأيتام بالشكل الصحيح. ويتطرق البحث إلى شروط تصرف الأوصياء بأملاك الأيتام، ومتابعة حصة الأيتام بدقة من حيث قيمتها المالية في حال بيعها، حتى تطمئن المحكمة بأن البيع يصب في مصلحة الأيتام.
