المستخلص: من المصطلحات الشائعة التي ارتبطت بوظائف المخ مفهوم السيطرة المخية أو السيادة النصفية للمخ، ومن خلال دراسة تاريخ بداية البحث في وظائف المخ ونصفي الكرة المخية يتضح أن مفهوم السيطرة المخية أو السيادة النصفية للمخ يرجع إلى عالم الأعصاب جاكسون بفكرته عن الجانب القائد من الدماغ، وقد أشار إلى هذا المفهوم أيضا عالم الأعصاب هيوغوليبمان (Hugo Liepman)، حيث أشار إلى سيطرة النصف الأيسر لدى معظم الأفراد، وبين أن النصف الأيسر من الدماغ هو الذي يسيطر على الحركات الإرادية واللغة والمنطق وبالتالي ظهر مصطلح السيادة النصفية للمخ، ويمكننا القول أن أساس البحث في هذا المفهوم هو البحث في القدرات اللغوية للنصفين الكرويين للمخ ، فقد كان اهتمام الباحثين منصبا حول أي النصفين يضطلع بقدرات لغوية اكثر من الثاني، أو بمعنى أخر أي النصفيين الكرويين للمخ له السيادة في الوظائف اللغوية المختلفة سواء الشفوية أو المكتوبة، اللفظية أو غير اللفظية، لذا يمكننا أن نقسم عناصر هذا المقال إلى عنصريين أساسيين الأول حول مفهوم السيادة النصفية للمخ ومختلف التعاريف والمميزات هذا المصطلح، والثاني حول القدرات اللغوية للنصفيين الكرويين للمخ، أي ماهي وظائف كل نصف كرة مخية فيما يخص فهم واستقبال اللغة أو إنتاجها بكل أشكالها وأقسامها.

A common terminology that has been associated with brain functions is the concept of cerebral control or Hemisphere dominance in the brain. From studying the history of the beginning of research into brain functions and hemispheres, it is clear that the concept of cerebral control or hemisphere dominance is attributed to neuroscientist Jackson with his idea of the leading side of The brain, it was also referred by the neuroscientist Hugo Liepman, where he pointed to the dominance of the left half of the brain in most individuals, and indicated that the left half of the brain controls the movements of the will, language and logic. Thus, the term hemisphere dominance of the brain appeared, we can say that basis of research in this concept is research into the linguistic capabilities of the two hemispheres of the brain. Researchers were interested in which hemispheres perform more linguistic abilities than the other, or in other words which of the two hemispheres of the brain have predominance in different linguistic functions, whether oral or written, textual or non-textual. So we can divide the elements of this article into two basic elements: the first is about the concept of hemispheric dominance and the various definitions and features of this term, and the second is about the linguistic capabilities of the two hemispheres of the brain, that is, what are the functions of each hemisphere in terms of understanding and receiving or producing language in all its and type and forms.
