استولت الفنتازيا على جانب كبير من سرد بلاتونوف وفكره، فكانت أحد الوسائل الخطابية التي اعتمد عليها في رواية الأشباح، وحديثه في خضم إبداعه متشعب يتضمن الوهم والخرافة والسخرية، والنقد، ويتخذ أشكالا شتى فمن واقع إلى خيال فنتازي، وبالرغم من حبه للحياة فحديثه مفعم بالألم الذي يحدق بشعب الجان فلولاه لم يكن البعد الفنتازي، وبدونه لا تتحق متعة الرواية. يستغل بلاتونوف هذا الجو ليورد لنا أنهارا من الألفاظ الغريبة الوهمية استطاع تسخير ذلك كله ليبدع عبر أنسجة خطابية فنتازية في إخراج صورة بعض المجتمعات الروسية التي قدمت المصالح المادية على حساب الروح الحساسة التي ارتبطت بالفقراء على مسار خط الرواية le fantasme a pris une grande place chez platonouve dans sa narration et pensée ,le fantasme a été l'un des outil de discours dont a utiliser dans son ramon sous titré les fantômes , en sa création a utilisé la fable, le symbole ,la railleries et la critique .sa création viennes sous plusieurs formes qui se paré entre le réel et la fiction fantasme rapportes des sens sémiotique. malgré son grand amour pour la vie sa création est pleine de malheur qui entour le peuple des esprits, ce malheur qui a crée le fantasme et grâce a lui on trouve le plaisir dans son ramon. dans cette atmosphère platonouve utilise plusieurs mots étrange imaginaire ou il a pu consacré tous sa pour créer des discours fantaisiste pour faire sortir l'image de quelque peuple russe qui préfèrent les choses matérielles que l’âme sensible cette âme qui se trouve toujours auprès des pauvres dans toutes les parties de ramon.
