The study aimed to recognize the level of economic knowledge for social studies students in Islamic university in Gaza , and to explore the differences between students which due to sex, accumulative average, the location of living, and the study of economic on the test of economic knowledge. To achieve this goal the researcher constructs the instrument of the study which consists of twenty items represents the basic concepts in economic. The reliability and validity of the test was computed. And the coefficient of reliability was, 86%. The study revealed that there are no significant statistical differences due to the variables of the study. Finally the study recommended to recognize the sources of economic information to the social studies student and to recognize the causes of none existing significant statistical differences due to sex, location of living, accumulative average and studying economic.
