|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء فاعلية تدريس علم الأحياء، باستخدام خرائط التفكير في التحصيل، وتنمية التفكير البصري لدي طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن، وطبقت الدراسة على (63) طالبا، وزعوا عشوائيا على مجموعتين: تجريبية وضابطة، واستخدم الباحث المنهج شبه التجريبي. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة جرى إعداد اختبار مكون من (30) فقرة؛ لقياس التحصيل لدى أفراد العينة في وحدة الوراثة، وجرى أيضا إعداد اختبار مكون من (20) فقرة؛ لقياس التفكير البصري لدى أفراد العينة، متضمنا خمسة أبعاد: (التمييز البصري، وإدراك العلاقات المكانية، وتفسير المعلومات وتحليلها، واستنتاج المعنى). وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود أثر دال إحصائيا لطريقة خرائط التفكير في التحصيل، وتنمية التفكير البصري، لصالح المجموعة التجريبية.

|b This research aims at inquiring the effectiveness of teaching biology by using maps of thinking towards the tenth grade student's achievement and develop their visual thinking. The study is applied on (63) students distributed randomly into two groups, the experimental group and control group. The research appliedes the qusi-experimental method, and to achieve the purposes of the study, a test consisting of (30) items to measure the achievement of the sample population in the genetics topic, is used. There is also another test that consists of (20) items to measure visual thinking including five dimensions: visual position, and spatial relation, and interpretation of data, analyzing data, and the deduction of meaning. The study shows that there is a significant effect in teaching biology by using maps of thinking on achievement and developing. Visual thinking in favor of experimental groups.
