المستخلص: يعتبر العمل عن بعد من أحدث التوجهات التي تعتمدها الكثير من الدول نحو توفير فرص عمل في العديد من قطاعات الأعمال وذلك لكثير من الأفراد وخاصة المرأة وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، وقد ساعد على انتشار هذا التوجه ودعمه التقدم الهائل للتقنيات الحديثة والاتصالات وما توفره تقنية المعلومات من التواصل والتي تمثل البنية التحتية لكثير من فرص العمل عن بعد، أولت المملكة العربية السعودية هذا التوجه كثير من الاهتمام والرعاية نظراً للتقدم الهائل للتقنيات الحديثة والاتصالات وتوفر البيئة المناسبة للعمل عن بعد وتناسبه مع ثقافة المجتمع والحاجة إلى تقليل نسب البطالة ورغبة المرأة في المساهمة في تنمية المجتمع وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، يهدف البحث إلى دراسة مفهوم العمل عن بعد والاستفادة من الخبرات والتجارب المحلية والإقليمية والدولية في مجال العمل عن بعد، وتحليل الوضع الراهن للعمل عن بعد في منطقة الدراسة وهي محافظة الخرج وذلك من خلال منظور تقني، للخروج بتوصيات ومقترحات وأفكار يمكن تطبيقها علي أرض الواقع بما يسهم بشكل جدي في تفعيل العمل عن بعد في المجتمع المحلي وبما يتناسب مع رؤى وطموحات أفراد ومؤسسات المجتمع، وأخيراً تحديد التحديات والصعوبات التي تواجه هذا التوجه الحديث، تعتمد الدراسة علي المنهج الوصفي وذلك من خلال حصر الموارد والإمكانيات في منطقة الدراسة، وجمع المعلومات والحقائق لتحديد المشكلات المتعلقة بالعمل عن بعد واستطلاع رأي كل من أفراد المجتمع وخاصة المرأة وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ومؤسسات المجتمع لمعرفة مدى تقبلهم للمجالات المقترحة.

Telecommuting is one of the latest trends adopted by many countries aiming to the provision of job opportunities by various business sectors to individuals, especially women and people with special needs. The tremendous progress of modern technology and communication and the opportunities for telecommuting that information and communication technology has provided helped in the widespread use and acceptance by many societies. Saudi Arabia has given a lot of attention and care to support this trend given the tremendous progress of modern technology and communication, the presence of a suitable environment for telecommuting socially and technically, the need to reduce unemployment, and to satisfy the desire of women to contribute to the development of society and achieve sustainable development ratios. The research aims to study the concept of teleworking benefiting from local, regional and international
experiences in the field; the analysis of the current situation of telecommuting in the in the study area (Al Kharj province) from a technical perspective; to come up with applicable recommendations, proposals and ideas which would contribute in earnest to the activation of remote work in the local community; and fulfilling the visions and aspirations of individuals and institutions of such communities. Finally, the research aims to identify the challenges and difficulties facing the implementation of telecommuting. The research is based on a descriptive approach that lists the resources and capabilities in the study area, gathers the information and facts to identify problems related to the implementation of remote working, and poll the members of society, especially women and people with special needs and community institutions, to determine the acceptability of the recommendations in the areas proposed.
