المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على التربية الفنية نشأتها وتطورها واتجاهاتها المستقبلية. فسعت لتقديم مسح لأهم مراحل تطور التربية الفنية والتركيز على تحليل اتجاهات تطوراتها المستقبلية وتوضيح مناهج تدريسها للطلبة وأهدافها. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والمنهج التاريخي. وتناولت عدة محاور شمل الأول مفهوم التربية الفنية وأهدافها وتناول الثاني أهداف التربية الفنية وأهميتها ومحاورها. وعرض الثالث تاريخ التربية الفنية. ووضح الرابع تطور التربية الفنية.
واختتمت بالإشارة إلى أهم الاتجاهات المستقبلية للتربية الفنية ومنها زيادة الاهتمام الرسمي الحكومي واهتمام مؤسسات التعليم بالتربية الفنية بما يخدم أهداف المجتمع في إعداد المواطن الصالح. وأن تتجه الدراسات المستقبلية في مجال التربية الفنية نحو الدراسات التكاملية التي تستفيد من مقومات العلوم الأخرى من علم نفس واجتماع وفلسفة وعلوم بيئية وغيرها. وربط تقييم الطلاب بالتقنيات المعملية لتحقيق التكامل الفكري للطلاب. وتطوير مناهج ومقررات التربية الفنية بحيث تراعي التدرج التصاعدي للمفاهيم الفنية حسب مستويات استيعاب الطلاب للمفاهيم الفنية في كل مرحلة دراسية. وأن ترتبط المؤسسات الأكاديمية بمراكز التطوير الجامعي.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018

The study aimed to identify the art education, its origin, development and future trends. It sought to provide a survey of the most important stages of the development of art education and focus on analyzing the trends of its future developments and clarifying its curricula for students and their objectives. The analytical descriptive method and historical method were used. The study included several topics, the first topic dealt with the concept of art education and its objectives, the second topic dealt with its objectives, its importance and topics, the third topic dealt with its history, The fourth topic dealt with its development.
The research concluded with identifying the most important future trends of art education, including increasing official government interest and the interest of educational institutions in technical education in order to serve the objectives of society in the preparation of the good citizen. It also concluded the future studies in the field of art education towards integrative studies that benefit from the components of other sciences; such as psychology, sociology, philosophy, environmental sciences and others. It recommended the need for linking students' evaluation of laboratory techniques to intellectual integration of students, developing curricula of art education to take into account the upward gradation of technical concepts according to levels of students' assimilation of technical concepts at each stage of study.
