المستخلص: The aim of the research was to provide a predictive study on the quality of perceived life and its relation to addressing the social problems of the students of Sultan Qaboos University. The research used the analytical descriptive approach to the quality of perceived life and its relation to the social problems facing students of Sultan Qaboos University. The research group consisted of 747 male and female students from Sultan Qaboos University from who are studying in the 2016 semester. The research tools included two measures of quality of life and the measure of the social problems for the university students. The results of the study indicate the possibility of obtaining the degree of the student in the quality of perceived life by knowing the degree of the social problems. The research came out with a set of recommendations, most importantly are the necessity of enriching the scientific knowledge base of both the psychology and the social service by improving quality of life standards so as to reflect on the effectiveness of preparing the graduates in both disciplines to face their social problems and thus their awareness of the quality of life in their careers and life in the future in general, as well as working on the introduction of some compulsory courses for the university students interested in clarifying the interrelationship between the social sciences and other sciences which can address the phenomena and the social and psychological problems and how to address them at the various age levels that would help them feel the quality of life.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018

استهدف البحث تقديم دراسة تنبؤية عن جودة الحياة المدركة وعلاقتها بمواجهة المشكلات الاجتماعية لدى طلبة جامعة السلطان قابوس. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لمعرفة جودة الحياة المدركة وعلاقتها بمواجهة المشكلات الاجتماعية لدى طلبة جامعة السلطان قابوس. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من 747 طالب وطالبة من طلاب جامعة السلطان قابوس ممن يدرسون في الفصل الدراسي 2016. وتضمنت أدوات البحث مقياسين هما مقياس جودة الحياة ومقياس المشكلات الاجتماعية لطلاب الجامعة. وجاءت نتائج البحث مؤشرة على إمكانية الحصول على درجة الطالب في جودة الحياة المدركة من خلال معرفة درجته في المشكلات الاجتماعية. وخرج البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات من أهمها. ضرورة إثراء القاعدة العلمية المعرفية لكل من علمي النفس والخدمة الاجتماعية بمعايير تحسين جودة الحياة حتى تنعكس ذلك على فاعلية إعداد الخريجين في كلا التخصصين لمواجهة مشكلاتهم الاجتماعية. وبالتالي أدراكهم لجودة الحياة في مستقبلهم المهني والحياتي بوجه عام. والعمل على طرح بعض المقررات الاجبارية لطلبة الجامعة تهتم بتوضيح العلاقات البينية بين العلوم الاجتماعية والعلوم الأخرى. والتي يمكن من خلالها تناول الظواهر والمشكلات الاجتماعية والنفسية. وطرح سبل مواجهتها في المراحل العمرية المختلفة والتي من شأنها ن تساعد على إحساسهم بجودة الحياة. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
