المستخلص: The level of readability and the degree of participatory at Arabic language textbook for students in the fifth grade in Jordan The study aimed to detect the level of readability and the degree of participatory at Arabic language textbook for students in the fifth grade in Jordan, to achieve the objectives, the study used Claus test to measure the level of readability and method of turkey to measure the degree of participatory Arabic book, the sample of the study consisted of (140) fifth-grade student chosen as a random, also the texts of prose texts in the book of the Arabic language to fifth grade primary was selected. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (Spss.17) (Statistical package For Social Sciences) used to find the arithmetic means, standard deviations, and frequencies and percentages, and the study found the following results: 1. The level of readability of the Arabic language textbook for fifth grade students was low level, within level of frustration. 2. The degree of participatory Arabic language textbook for students in the fifth grade was high and amounted to (0.91). In light of these results the study recommended that the need to update and change the methods of teaching Arabic language so that be more practical, and through the activities and exercises carried out by the students.

هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى مقروئية ودرجة إشراكية كتاب اللغة العربية لطلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في الاردن، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام اختبار كلوز لقياس مستوى المقروئية وطريقة رومي لقياس درجة إشراكية الكتاب اللغة العربية، وتم اختيار عينة عشوائية من طلبة الصف الخامس وبلغت (١٤٠) طالب، كما تم اختيار نصين من النصوص النثرية في كتاب اللغة العربية للصف الخامس الاساسي. تم استخدام الرزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية.Statistical package) (Spss 17) For Social Sciences) لإيجاد المتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية، والتكرارات والنسب المئوية، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج أهمها: ١- أن مستوى مقروئية كتاب اللغة العربية للصف الخامس متدني، حيث جاء ضمن المستوى الاحتياطي. ٢- أن درجة إشراكية كتاب اللغة العربية لطلبة الصف الخامس جاءت مرتفعة وبلغت .(.91) وفي ضوء هذه النتائج أوصت الدراسة ضرورة تحديث وتغير طرق تدريس اللغة العربية بحيث تدرس بصورة أكثر عملية، وذلك من خلال مجموعة النشاطات والتدريبات التي يقوم بها الطالب.
