|a تضطلع المؤسسات التعليمية – بصفة عامة – والجامعة – بصفة خاصة – بدور رئيس في دعم المجتمع في التحول إلى اقتصاد المعرفة، والتركيز علي انتاج سلع كثيفة المعرفة ذات قيمة مضافة عالية، وتناولت الدراسة خبرة كل من كندا وسنغافورة في هذا المجال، وتناولت دور الجامعة في إعداد خريجين ذي مهارة عالية، ودور البحث العلمي في إنتاج معرفة جديدة، ومن ثم أصبح هناك تركيز شديد علي مؤسسات البحث العلمي والابتكار عالميا، والدور الفاعل لعمال المعرفة في قيادة التحول نحو اقتصاد المعرفة، وكذلك ريادة الأعمال ودورها البارز في تحقيق نقلات نوعية سريعة في مجال اقتصاد المعرفة. ويعد الدراسة التحليلية المقارنة، واستخلاص نتائج الدراسة، قدمت الدراسة رؤية مقترحة لدعم جهود الجامعات في مصر في القيام بدور فاعل في تحول مصر إلى اقتصاد المعرفة.

|b Educational institutions in general and universities in particular play a decisive role in transforming any society towards noledge economy, which in turn lead to producing more intensive products of more additional economic value. Current study considered the experience of both Canada and Singapore in this field. In this study their TEMPhas been more consideration given to the university role in preparing graduates who are enjoying high quality skills, added to the role of scientific research in producing new noledge. Accordinglye. their TEMPhas been more consideration to the institutions of scientific research at the international level, added to the crucial role of noledge workers in leading the process of transformation towards noledge economy. Finally, entrepreneurship TEMPhas been touched upon as a means that TEMPhas a role to play in achieving gigantic steps in the field of noledge economy. After the analytical comparative study and reaching at the results the researcher presented a suggested view to reinforce the efforts of the Egyptian universities relating to their roles in transformation of Egypt towards noledge economy.
