هدف البحث إلى تصميم استراتيجية تدريسية قائمة على بعض عادات العقل في مادة الرياضيات لتلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي. والتعرف على فعالية الاستراتيجية المقترحة في تنمية كلا من التحصيل الدراسي ومهارات التفكير الرياضي لدى التلاميذ. وبحث العلاقة الارتباطية بين التحصيل الدراسي في مادة الرياضيات ومهارات التفكير الرياضي. واستخدم البحث المنهج شبه التجريبي. وتكونت مجوعة البحث من عينة عشوائية من تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي وقسمت إلى مجموعتين تجريبية وضابطة. وتمثلت أدوات البحث في الاختبار التحصيلي واختبار مهارات التفكير الرياضي. وأسفر البحث عن عدة النتائج منها وجود فروق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي درجات تلاميذ المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في التطبيق البعدي للمستويات المختلفة التي يتضمنها الاختبار التحصيلي وكذلك الدرجة الكلية للاختبار لصالح تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية. ووجود فعالية للاستراتيجية المقترحة القائمة على بعض عادات العقل في تنمية كلا من التحصيل في مادة الرياضيات ومهارات التفكير الرياضي. ووجود علاقة ارتباطية بين الاختبار التحصيلي واختبار مهارات التفكير الرياضي. وأوصى البحث بضرورة توظيف عادات العقل داخل مقررات الرياضيات لما لها من مردود إيجابي في إكساب التلاميذ المعارف والمهارات المتنوعة. والاهتمام بتنويع الأنشطة في هذه المقررات لتناسب الفروق الفردية في مستوى عادات العقل بين التلاميذ. ونشر الوعي بعادات العقل وأهميتها وأساليب تنميتها بين معلمي الرياضيات من خلال ورش العمل التدريبية أو الزيارات المتبادلة. كما أوصى بضرورة تدريب الموجهين على استخدام عادات العقل في تدريس الرياضيات. وتغيير نمط الامتحانات وأساليب التقويم بحيث لا تقتصر على قياس النواحي المعرفية التحصيلية فحسب بل تركز على قدرات التلاميذ على مهارات التفكير المتنوعة. وضرورة تطوير تدريس مناهج مادة الرياضيات في ضوء الاستراتيجيات التدريسية الحديثة.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The aim of the research is to design a teaching strategy based on some of the habits of mind in mathematics for the fifth graders, and identify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in the development of both the academic achievement and the mathematical thinking skills among the students. In addition to examine the correlation between the scholastic achievement in mathematics and the mathematical thinking skills. The research used a semi-experimental approach. The research group consisted of a random sample of the fifth graders of primary stage. The sample was divided into two experimental and control groups. The research tools were the achievement test and the test of the mathematical thinking skills. The results of the research showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post-application in the different levels of the achievement test, as well as the total score of the test was for the benefit of the experimental group students. Moreover, there was effectiveness of the proposed strategy based on some habits of mind in the development of both the achievement in mathematics and the mathematical thinking skills. There was also a correlation relation between the achievement test and the test of the mathematical thinking skills. The research recommended the need to employ the habits of mind within the mathematics curricula because they have a positive output in providing students with knowledge and the various skills. Furthermore, the need to care about the diversification of the activities in these curricula to suit the individual differences in the level of the habits of mind among the students, and spreading awareness of the habits of the mind and its importance and the methods of development among the teachers of mathematics through the training workshops or exchange visits. It also recommended the need to train the advisors to use the habits of the mind in the teaching of mathematics, and to change the pattern of the tests and the assessment methods so as not only to measure the cognitive aspects but also to focus on the students' abilities in the various skills of thinking.
