المستخلص: لا يختلف اثنان على أن اللغة أسلوب تفكير ووسيلة للاتصال، واستمرار لوجود الأمة، واللغة تعني بنظام القيم الجماعية والفردية من خلال تعاييرها ومفرداتها، واللغة العربية تمتاز بتاريخيها وعراقته وثروتها الفكرية والأدبية، وحضارتها التي وصلت قديم الإنسان بحديثها وهذه الحقيقة يؤيدها التاريخ تأييدا قاطعا، ونحن نقف اليوم أمام لغة فرضت لها مكانة من فوق سبع سموات، فقال تعالي: (إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآَنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ) (2) يوسف، والذي لا يمكن أن نغض الطرف عنه أن اللغة العربية اليوم تواجه العديد من العقبات والعوائق التي تحول دون صيرورتها وتطورها من بينها الازدواج اللغوي بين اللغة العربية الفصحى والعامية، فهذه الأخيرة تشكل خطرا على اللغة، حيث أصبحت العامية لغة الحياة اليومية.
سنحاول من خلال هذه الورقة البحثية الحديث عن العامية في الوسط المدرسي، مع تحديد أسباب تفشي العامية في هذا الوسط، والأسباب التي تحول دون الاستخدام اللغوي للفصحى، مع تبيان بعض السبل التي تساهم من الحد من انتشار العامية وتعزيز مكانة اللغة العربية الفصحى.

No two people disagree that language represents a method of thinking and a means of communication, the continuation of the existence of the nation, and that language signifies the system of collective and individual values through its standards and vocabulary. The Arabic language is distinguished by its history, deep-rooted heritage, intellectual and literary wealth and by its civilization, which reached the ancient man with its speech, a fact which is supported by history in an unequivocal manner. Today we stand before a language, the status and standing of which has been imposed from above the seven heavens. Allah said: “Verily, we have revealed it as an Arabic Quran, so that you may comprehend” (TMQ: Soorah Yusuf, verse: 2). What we cannot overlook however, is that the Arabic language today faces many obstacles and impediments that hinder its course and development. From amongst these is the linguistic combining of the classical Arabic language with the colloquial Arabic. This latter poses a danger to the language, as the colloquial has become the language of everyday life.
In this paper, we will attempt to talk about the presence of the colloquial language within the school environment, by identifying the reasons for the prevalence of colloquial in this environment and the reasons that prevent the use of the classical language, whilst identifying some ways that can contribute to reducing the prevalence of colloquial and enhance the status of the classical Arabic language.
