|a هدفت الدراسة الي تحديد مفاهيم التربية الوقائية التي يجب أن تتضمنها كتب العلوم بمعاهد وبرامج التربية الفكرية بالمملكة العربية السعودية، ومستوى تناولها لها، كذلك تحديد مستوى وعي التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية بتلك المفاهيم، واستخدمت الدراسة استبيان لتحديد المفاهيم والسلوكيات الوقائية المناسبة للتلاميذ المعاق فكريا، وأداة تحليل محتوى كتب العلوم ومقياس مصور للسلوكيات الوقائية المطلوبة للتلاميذ المعاق فكريا، وأسفرت النتائج أن كتب العلوم بمعاهد وبرامج التربية الفكرية تضمنت متطلبات وأبعاد التربية الوقائية بنسب منخفضة لكل من المجالات الصحة والنظافة، والأمن والسلامة وبنسب منخفضة جدا للتربية الوقائية النفسية، وأن مستوي وعي التلاميذ المعاقين فكريا - عينة الدراسة - أقل من حد الكفاية على نحو دال احصائيا وذلك بالنسبة لأبعاد مقياس مفاهيم التربية الوقائية، وكذلك بالنسبة للدرجة الكلية للاختبار.

|f The study sought to identify the concepts of preventive education that must be included in science books in intellectual education institutes and programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to determine the level of their dealing with them, as well as to ascertain the level of awareness of students with mental disabilities of those concepts. \nThe study used a questionnaire to identify appropriate preventive concepts and behaviors for mentally disabled pupils, a tool to analyze the science books’ content and a visual measure for the required preventive behaviors for mentally disabled pupils. \nThe results revealed that that the science books of the intellectual institutes and education programs included the requirements and dimensions of preventive education at low rates in respect to each of the areas of health and hygiene, security and safety, and very low rates in respect to psychological preventive education. And that the level of awareness of intellectually disabled pupils (i.e. the study sample) is statistically less than sufficient I relation to the dimensions of the measure of preventive education concepts, as well as for the overall lest level. \nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc 2018.
