المستخلص: L’enseignement/ apprentissage du français langue étrangère en Algérie constitue un champ de recherche très vaste et complexe. Les changements que connaît notre système éducatif résultant de l’apparition de l’Approche par compétences nous ont encouragés de revoir les pratiques éducatives, en variant les modalités de travail et les activités d’apprentissage, en convoquant différentes compétences et différents supports sous un angle purement créatif. Une réflexion sur la lecture, l’oral et l’écrit, en tant que compétences servant à préparer un apprenant à être autonome s’impose.

The teaching / learning of French as a foreign language in Algeria is a vast and complex field of research. The changes in our educational system resulting from the emergence of the Competency-based Approach have encouraged us to review educational practices, by varying working arrangements and learning activities, by bringing together different skills and different mediums from an angle purely creative. A reflection on reading, oral and written as skills to prepare a learner to be autonomous is needed.
