المستخلص: This study is aimed at identifying and monitoring the motivations and obstacles in the development of creative thinking skills, which relate to children of kindergarten age from their parents’ points of view in Kuwait. The study was conducted on a sample of 784 parents of children in both levels of kindergarten and tested both genders at government kindergartens in six different educational districts in Kuwait. This study was based on the “Motivations and Obstacles to the Development of Creative Thinking Skills among Kindergartners” using the questionnaire method. The main findings of the study consider the most significant motivating factors for developing creative thinking skills in kindergartners from the point of view of their parents. There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance of 0.001 among the average scores of the study sample on the assessment of the motivating factors in the development of creative thinking skills concerning our topic that are attributed to the variable of the education area in the following districts: Al-Asimah, Hawally, Farwaniya and Mubarak Al-Kabeer. There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance of 0.001 about the factors which foster the development of creative thinking skills related to our topic that are due to the guardian’s level of education, such as having a university degree and higher qualifications. There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance of 0.01 among the average scores of the study sample about their encouragement of the development of creative skills related to our topic that are due to the guardian’s level of education. This is due to the fact that the income of a parent with a university degree and higher qualifications would have a monthly income of from KD 2000 – 3000. Moreover, there are statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.02 among the average scores of the study sample about the obstacles to the development of creative thinking skills related to our topic that are due to the monthly income variable of the guardian with a monthly income between KD1000 and KD2000.

استهدفت هذه الدراسة رصد وتحديد العوامل المحفزة والمعوقة لتنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لدى أطفال الروضة من وجهة نظر آبائهم. وأجريت الدراسة على عينة قوامها (784) من أولياء أمور الأطفال بالمستويين الأول والثاني (ذكوراً، وإناثاً) برياض الأطفال الحكومية في مختلف المناطق التعليمية الست بدولة الكويت. وقد اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على استبيان "محفزات ومعوقات تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لدى أطفال الروضة" (إعداد: الباحثين). وتتلخص أهم نتائج الدراسة فيما يأتي: تحديد أهم العوامل المحفزة والمعوقة لتنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لدى أطفال الروضة من وجهة نظر آبائهم، كما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.001) بين متوسطات درجات عينة الدراسة حول تقديرهم لمحفزات تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي تعزى إلى متغير المنطقة التعليمية، لصالح المناطق الآتية: العاصمة، وحولي، والفروانية، ومبارك الكبير. كما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.001) بين متوسطات درجات عينة الدراسة حول تقديرهم لمحفزات تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي تعزى إلى متغير المستوى التعليمي لولي الأمر، لصالح جامعي فأعلى. كما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.01) بين متوسطات درجات عينة الدراسة حول تقديرهم لمحفزات تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي تعزى إلى متغير الدخل الشهري لولي الأمر، لصالح الدخل الشهري من (2000) دينار، وأقل من (3000) دينار. كما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.02) بين متوسطات درجات عينة الدراسة حول تقديرهم لمعوقات تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي تعزى إلى متغير الدخل الشهري لولي الأمر، لصالح الدخل الشهري من (1000) دينار، وأقل من (2000) دينار.
