يهدف البحث إلى تحقيق الأهداف التالية: 1. التعرف على ملامح الأداء الجامعي في العالم المعاصر. 2. الوقوف على واقع الأداء الجامعي في أستراليا. 3. الوقوف على واقع الأداء الجماعي في فنلندا. 4. الوقوف على أوحه التشابه والاختلاف في الأداء الجامعي في كل من أستراليا وفنلندا وتفسيرها في ضوء العلوم الاجتماعية المختلفة. 5. التوصل إلى إجراءات مقترحة لتطوير الأداء الجامعي بمصر في ضوء خبرتي دولتي المقارنة وبذلك تم تحديد مشكلة البحث في محاولة الإجابة على السؤال الرئيس التالي: كيف يمكن تطوير الأداء الجامعي في مصر من خلال الاستفادة من خبرات كل من أستراليا وفنلندا في هذا المجال وبما يتناسب مع ظروف المجتمع المصري. واعتمد البحث على المنهج المقارن الذي يعد أنسب المناهج المستخدمة وأكثرها دلالة على التربية المقارنة، وأكثرها شمولا للمناهج الفرعية. كما أنه المنهج المناسب لمثل هذا البحث. ومن أهم التوصيات التي توصل إليها البحث ما يلي: وجود بعض الإجراءات التي يمكن الإفادة منها من دولتي المقارنة في محاور: (الطلاب، أعضاء هيئة التدريس، الإمكانات المادية، البحث العلمي، تقويم الأداء) والتي يمكن من خلالها تطوير الأداء الجامعي في مصر.
The research aims at fulfilling the following objectives: 1- Revealing the Features of university performance in the modem world. 2- Exploring the reality of university performance in Australia. 3- Exploring the reality of university performance in Finland. 4- Identifying aspects of similarity and differences of university performance in Australia and Finland and how to interpret it in the Light of different Social Sciences. 5- Conclude to procedures suggested to develop university performance in Egypt in the light of the experience of the two comparative countries. The problem of the research was identified to answer the main following question: How can university performance be developed in Egypt in the light of the experience of Australia and Finland according to the circumstances of the Egyptian society? The research used the comparative method which is considered the most appropriate method in comparative education. It is the most comprehensive one to the sub- methods in addition to being the most appropriate method for this research. The research concluded to the following recommendations: There are many aspects and procedures that we can benefit from the experience of Australia and Finland in relation to students, staff, material capabilities, scientific research and performance assessment from which Egypt can benefit to develop university performance.
