اشتملت الرسالة على خمسة أبواب: احتوى الباب الأول المقدمة وأهمية البحث: تعد رياضة المعاقين من الرياضات التي باتت ظاهرة للمجتمعات المتقدمة حضارياً والتي شملها التقدم العلمي الذي حصل في عصرنا الحاضر وفي جميع مجالات الحياة جميعها بما في ذلك المجال الرياضي لإعداد الفرد إعداداً شاملاً للوصول إلى المستويات العليا في الأنشطة الرياضية كافة ورياضة المعاقين بصورة خاصة وتكمن أهمية البحث في أن لعبة كرة القدم لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة (الصم والبكم) إحدى الألعاب التي تساعد على تأهيل (الصم والبكم) سمعياً، إذ أن حاسة السمع من الحواس المهمة التي يعتمد عليها الفرد في تفاعلاته مع الآخرين في أثناء مواقف الحياة المختلفة، إذ تستقبل كل المثيرات والخبرات الخارجية ، وهي وسيلة للتواصل مع المجتمع، وإن الإعاقة السمعية من أشد الإعاقات الحسية، إذ يترتب عليها فقدان القدرة على الكلام والتواصل مع الآخرين، فضلاً عن الصمم الكلي، لذا يصعب على الأصم اكتساب اللغة والكلام، وتعلم المهارات المختلفة. وأن فئة الصم والبكم، الذين يعتبرون أحد تصنيفات أطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، وما يعانون من ضعف القدرة على التعلم أو بطء فيها أو لسبب آخر، سواء كانت أسباب تربوية أو نفسية أو اجتماعية أو صحية، ولا يمكن تعليمهم بنفس الطرائق المتبعة مع أقرانهم الأسوياء، وإنما بطرائق تعليمية خاصة ومنها الاجهزة والادوات المساعدة لتأثيرها في عملية التعلم بإيضاحها وتسهيلها وما لها من اثارة وتشويق للمتعلم. أما مشكلة البحث: ومن خلال مشاهدة الباحث ومتابعته لهذه الفئة خلال دروس التربية الرياضية المقررة والمعدة من قبل وزارة التربية اسوة بمدارس الاسوياء لاحظ ان بعض القائمين على العملية التعليمية في مجال التربية الرياضية لا يستخدمون أساليب التدريس المستحدثة بل يستخدمون أسلوب الشرح (قراءة الشفاه) وغالباً لا يستخدمون أساليب خاصة في عملية تدريس هذه الفئة وخاصة درس التربية الرياضية لذلك كان هناك ضعف حاصل في عملية تعلم المهارات الأساسية بكرة القدم ويعود ذلك إلى قلة استخدام الأساليب التدريسية المتنوعة التي تناسبهم. لذا ارتأى الباحث دراسة هذه المشكلة بشكل علمي يتناسب مع أهمية بحثه من خلال الاعتماد على المصادر والبحوث السابقة والتجربة المبنية على الأسس العلمية.
