من خلال البحث الموسوم (( أصول الفقه ورعاية البيئة )) تبين لي: أن طبيعة العلاقة بين وظيفة الإنسان الأساسية هي العبودية لله، والإيمان من جهة، والبيئة من جهة أخرى ، ثم يستعرض البحث التصور الإسلامي لحماية مكونات البيئة ، لان البيئة تهدد اليوم الإنسانية على عدة جبهات ، فمن أهم المشاكل البيئية في عالمنا الذي نعيش به مشكلة الهواء والماء وتلوث الأرض ومشكلة الأزبال وتصريف المياه القذرة والمشاكل النابعة من النقل والمواصلات البرية والبحرية والجوية ومشاكل استعمال الطاقة والضوضاء، وقضية الزراعة والنباتات والمساحات الخضراء ... الخ . وأهم احتياجات الإنسان في مستقرة الحضري أن الإنسان لا يستطيع العيش بدون الهواء والماء والغذاء ، وسيعيش عيشة غير صحية ويمكن أن تتطور لتكون عيشة مزرية فى حالة تلوث الهواء والماء والغذاء ، وهذا يرتبط بصورة قطعية بالزراعة ومشاكل المياه في العالم والصناعة والنقل ... الخ وللأنسان حاجة ملحة إلى العيش في المدينة التي تتوفر له احتياجاته الطبيعية والاجتماعية والنفسية فان الشريعة الإسلامية ثمت قواعد فقهية ذات الصلة الوثيقة بشؤون البيئة وعلاقاتها بالناس قاعدة ((لا ضرر ولا ضرار)) ومن جملة القواعد الأخرى: الضرر يزال بقدر الامكان، الضرر يزال، العمل بأقل الضررين، درء المفاسد أولى من جلب المنافع، الإسلام نظر للإنسان من خلال منظور كوني يشتمل على كل مفردات البيئة
