المستخلص: As the world is becoming more competitive and unstable than ever before, manufacturing-based industries are seeking to gain competitive advantage at all cost and are turning to more innovative sources through HRM practices. The aim of this research study was to examine the role of using HRM practices in achieving comparative advantage in Algerian companies, through a sampling of 70 employees from these companies. The statistical results showed that there is a positive role of human resources management practices and competitive advantage which means that there is a great awareness of the Algerian manager about the importance of human resources management practices to achieve the competitive advantage.
