المستخلص: Avec l’avancée considérable de chaque domaine de savoir, l’époque de l’homme encyclopédique est révolue sans retour. A cette époque, le scientifique regroupe dans son esprit plusieurs connaissances qui lui permettaient de jouer le rôle du pont entre les différentes branches du savoir. A notre jour tout chercheur est contraint à ne pouvoir maîtriser vraiment qu’une partie du champ théorique de sa propre discipline.
A travers cette situation, les disciplines apparaissent comme des iles éparses sans liens ; Mais on peut et on doit aujourd’hui combler le manque d’une théorisation adéquate de l’interdisciplinarité.
Depuis quelques décennies, des appels à l’ouverture des barrières disciplinaires, aux contacts, aux échanges. Plusieurs termes ont vu le jour, se rencontrent sur la nécessité des contacts et des échanges entre les disciplines. Ces appels rencontrent des résistances, tantôt fondés sur des précautions objectives, tantôt dictés par une démarche conservatrice.

The call for this approach has already emerged in recent decades and is growing among those interested in breaking the barriers between human knowledge.
Several terms emerged, converging when it is necessary to pay attention to the convergence of science, but each of them carries a perception that approaches or moves away in the perception of this convergence. It is not conceivable that this call will pass without criticism, some of which are founded, others base their rejection on the persistence of conservatism.

مع التطور الهائل للحقول المعرفية، فقد ولى إلى غير رجعة ذلك الزمن الذي يقوده العالم الموسوعي، الذي يجمع قدرا من المعارف، تؤهله ليكون جسرا بين العلوم وتفرعاتها، لكن يعد في وسع الباحث في هذا العصر إلا التحكم الفعلي في جزء من الحقل النظري لاختصاصه.
الأمر الذي غدت معه المعارف والعلوم تبدو في بعض مظاهرها جزرا معزولة لا رابط بينها، ولكن في استطاعتنا ومن واجبنا أن نسد هذا الفراغ بالتنظير المناسب للتفكير البيني؛ والدعوة لهذا التوجه ظهرت فعلا في العقود الأخيرة، وما فتئت تتعاظم بين أوساط المهتمين بكسر الحواجز بين المعرفة البشرية.
وظهرت مصطلحات عدة، تلتقي عند ضرورة الالتفات لتلاقي العلوم، لكن كل منها يحمل تصورا يقترب أو يبتعد في تصور هذا التلاقي، ولا يتصور أن تمر هذه الدعوة دون وجود انتقادات بعضها مؤسس، وبعضها الآخر يؤسس رفضه على التشبث بالمحافظة.
