Task Based Approach (TBA) has gained popularity in the field of language teaching since the last decade of the 20th century and significant scholars have joined the discussion and increased the amount of analytical studies on the issue. The present study aims at investigating the enhancing of writing under the task based approach. To achieve this aim, we chosen the sample third-year Economics at the University of Kasdi Merbah, Ouargla. We hypothesize that if the task based approach improves the learners’ writing skill. We adopted a needs analysis sheet to our sample, and we administered a pre-test and posttest to the sample to test the reliability of the model adopted. As might been expected, the results of the investigation revealed that the task based approach improves the ESP learners’ writing skill.
