|b The aim of the study was to identify the degree of cultural identity and its relation to achievement motivation among the students of the Faculty of Science and Arts in Al-Mahwah Governorate. The aim was to find out if there were statistically significant differences in the cultural identity and motivation of the students of the Faculty of Science and Arts in major, level of the study, GPA). The study was followed by the descriptive method. The sample of the study was chosen by the random stratified method of the student society of the Faculty of Science and Arts in Al-Mahwah Governorate. Where the number of sample (293) students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the cultural identity scale and the achievement motivation measure were applied to the Students. The results showed that the total degree of cultural identity (high) was the general average of the responses of the sample on the scale (2.42) with a standard deviation of (0.25). And the overall score of achievement motivation was (medium). The general mean of the responses of the sample of the study on the scale (2.31) was a standard deviation of 0.23. The correlation between the total score of the cultural identity scale and the total score of the motivation score for achievement was not statistically significant, indicating that there was no relationship between the scores of the sample in the cultural identity scale and the level of motivation for their achievement. In light of the results, a series of recommendations were presented

|a هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة الهوية الثقافية وعلاقتها بدافع الإنجاز لدى طالبات كلية العلوم والآداب بمحافظة المخواة، كما هدفت إلى معرفة إذا ما كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الهوية الثقافية ودافعية الإنجاز لدى طالبات كلية العلوم والآداب بمحافظة المخواة تعزي للمتغيرات التالية: (التخصص، المستوى الدراسي، المعدل التراكمي). اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية من مجتمع طالبات كلية العلوم والآداب بمحافظة المخواة. حيث بلغ عدد أفراد العينة (293) طالبة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطبيق مقياس الهوية الثقافية والمعد من قبل خليفة (2008م)، ومقياس دافعية الإنجاز والمعد من قبل الشلبي (2013م) على الطالبات. وأظهرت النتائج أن الدرجة الكلية للهوية الثقافية (عالية) حيث بلغ المتوسط العام لاستجابات عينة الدراسة على المقياس (2.42) بانحراف معياري قدره (0.25). وأن الدرجة الكلية لدافعية الإنجاز جاءت (متوسطة) حيث بلغ المتوسط العام لاستجابات عينة الدراسة على المقياس (2.31) بانحراف معياري قدره (0.23). بينما جاءت العلاقة ضعيفة بين الدرجة الكلية لمقياس الهوية الثقافية، وبين الدرجة الكلية لمقياس الدافع للإنجاز، مما يشير إلى أنه لا توجد علاقة بين درجات عينة الدراسة في مقياس الهوية الثقافية وبين مستوى الدافع للإنجاز لديهن، وكانت تلك النتيجة غير دالة إحصائيا، وفي ضوء النتائج تم تقديم مجموعة من التوصيات.
