المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى رصد المشكلات المتعلقة ببناء وتطوير الخطط الدراسية من وجهه نظر أعضاء لجان الخطط والبرامج الدراسية بجامعة الملك خالد، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي، وتم بناء استبانة طبقت على عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس المشاركين في لجان الخطط والبرامج الدراسية بجامعة الملك خالد وبلغ عددهم (43)، وأسفرت النتائج عن وجود مشكلات متعلقة بتصميم الخطط وتطوير المناهج الدراسية منها تركيز عملية بناء أو تطوير الخطط الدراسية على جانب المعرفة أكثر من التركيز على تنمية المهارات، وتكرار المعلومات بالمقررات وعدم مواكبتها للتغيرات الحديثة وعدم الموائمة مع سوق العمل، وعدم الاهتمام بدفع الطالب للإبداع والتعلم الذاتي، كما توجد مشكلات متعلقة بمهارات القائمين على تطوير الخطط الدراسية منها ضعف القدرة على تحقيق الاتساق بين استراتيجيات التدريس وأساليب طرق التقويم والمحتوى، عدم توفير الدعم المالي والحوافز لأعضاء لجان الخطط والبرامج الدراسية وعدم وجود برامج تدريبية متعلقة بآليات تطوير المناهج الدراسية بالإضافة إلى ندرة الخبرات المتعلقة ببناء وتطوير الخطط، كما توجد مشكلات إدارية منها زيادة العبء التدريسي، والأعمال الإدارية لأعضاء لجان الخطط والبرامج، وصعوبة إجراء مقارنات مرجعية وصعوبة التواصل مع جهات التوظيف والهيئات العلمية، وفى ضوء النتائج تم وضع مجموعة من المقترحات.

The current study aimed to determined the problems related to the construction and development of the curriculum from the point of view of the members of the committees of Academic Plans and Programs at King Khalid University. The study was based on the descriptive approach and a questionnaire was built on a sample of faculty members participating in the committees of Academic Plans and Programs at King Khalid University. (43). The results show there was problems related to the design of plans and the development of curricula, such as focusing the process of building or developing study plans on the knowledge side, rather than focusing on skills development, repetition of information by courses and failure to cope with recent changes and lack of compatibility with the labor market. There are also problems related to the skills of those who develop study plans, including the weakness of the ability to achieve consistency between teaching strategies and methods of assessment and content, lack of financial support and incentives for members of the committees of plans and programs of study and the absence of As well as the scarcity of expertise related to the construction and development of plans. There are also administrative problems, including increasing the teaching burden, administrative work of the members of the committees of plans and programs, the difficulty of making reference comparisons and the difficulty of communicating with the employment agencies and the scientific bodies.
