The study problem is that traditional performance evaluation methods have some shortcomings in their focus on measuring financial performance, which gives results related only to financial aspects and some operational aspects in the short run, while neglecting to measure quantitative and strategic performance, which is the main pillar of the performance of industrial companies, this reason called for the work to find modern methods of measuring quantitative and strategic performance in order to give definite results on the performance of those companies, so it can ease and enable to properly evaluate its performance, this method which that can be used as an alternative to these methods, is a balanced score card. The study aimed to enhance the awareness of top managements of Sudanese industrial companies of the importance of adopting the balanced score card model. The study examined the following hypothesis: There is a statistically significant relationship between the application of Balanced Scorecard based on the perspective of internal operations and evaluation of the financial and strategic performance of Sudanese industrial companies. The researchers used the analytical, descriptive approach to study and analyze the financial and quantative data of Sinnar Sugar Factory. The study reached to some findings out of them were: Using the Balanced Scorecard model in the process of evaluating the financial performance of Sudanese industrial companies led to improving the qualitative characteristics of financial and non- financial data and information that help management in rationalizing and supporting its decisions, also the availability of the infrastructure of the balanced scorecard model in Sinnar Sugar Factory during the period covered by the study.
تتمثل مشكلة الدراسة في أن أساليب تقويم الأداء التقليدية تعاني من بعض أوجه القصور المتمثلة في قيامها بالتركيز على قياس الأداء المالي في الأجل القصير، والذي يعطي نتائج تتعلق بالجوانب المالية وبعض الجوانب التشغيلية خلال دورة النشاط، مع إهمالها لقياس الأداء الكمي، والذي يمثل الركيزة الأساسية لأداء الشركات الصناعية، مما استدعى العمل على إيجاد أساليب حديثة تهتم بقياس الأداء الكمي والاستراتيجي حتى تعطي نتائج شاملة عن الأداء المالي (قصير وطويل المدى) للشركات الصناعية، مما يسهل ويمكن من تقويم أدائها على نحو سليم، فكان هذا الأسلوب الذي يمكن استخدامه كبديل عن تلك الأساليب هو بطاقة الأداء المتوازن. وقد هدفت الدراسة إلى تعزيز وعي الإدارات العليا للشركات الصناعية السودانية بأهمية تبني تطبيق نموذج بطاقة الأداء المتوازن. وقد اختبرت الدراسة الفرضية الآتية: هناك علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين تطبيق بطاقة الأداء المتوازن على أساس منظور العمليات الداخلية، وتقويم الأداء المالي والاستراتيجي للشركات الصناعية السودانية. لقد استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في دراسة البيانات المالية لمصنع سكر سنار وتحليلها. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج منها: استخدام نموذج بطاقة الأداء المتوازن في عملية تقويم الأداء المالي للشركات الصناعية السودانية أدى إلى تحسين الخصائص النوعية للبيانات والمعلومات المالية وغير المالية التي ساعدت الإدارة في ترشيد ودعم قراراتها، كذلك توافر مقومات تطبيق نموذج بطاقة الأداء المتوازن في مصنع سكر سنار من خلال بيانات الفترة التي تغطيها الدراسة.
