520 |b The Sura of Ar-Rahman is distinctive in terms of the sound, syntactic and stylistic levels. It is also distinguished by the order of the rhetoric and aesthetic level in which this holy sura is magnificently brought out. Thus, I have decided to present the rhetoric level of this sura, in addition to, I dealt with the rhetorical side, focusing mainly on the antithesis, metaphor, simile personification variation and repetition because such issues are the most important characteristics of this holy Sura. Finally, I concluded that this sura is full of rhetorical devices. The Holy Qur’an‚ the religious book of Muslims‚ is very rich in rhetorical devices. It is sent for the guidance of mankind. This research examines how the rhetorical devices can be applied to a religious text. David Tracy (1979: 104 ) remarked that “the study of rhetorical devices may well provide a central clue to a better understanding of that elusive and perplexing phenomenon our Scientific Journal of Education College for Humanities culture calls religion”. After a quick evaluation of the rhetorical devices, the discussion will focus strictly on the analysis of the rhetorical devices implication in the Holy Qur’an specifically in sura Ar-Rahman. The problem of the research can be summarized in the following questions: What are the verses that involve the rhetorical devices in surah Ar-Rahman? What are the types of the rhetorical devices in surah Ar-Rahman as well as their purposes? The research aims to: 1. Know the verses which involve the rhetorical devices . 2. Apply the rhetorical devices of literature in the analysis . 3. Apply the linguistic view of the rhetorical devices to the Quran .Such application can provide valuable insights. These insights enhance the overall aim of this research which is to prove the linguistic creativity of the Qur’an through applying the rhetorical devices to religion. 1. Rhetorical usage is one of the prevalent functions of language. Knowing these usages is a key to understanding holy texts. Knowing these usages is of great importance, and lack of this sort of knowledge leads to some undue conceptions or interpretations of the Quranic verses . 2. Repetition plays significant and cognitive roles in the Holy Qura’n. It sometimes occurs regularly and immediately in successive verses ,sometimes in one Sura with regular intervals, as in Surah Ar- Rahman , and occasionally in two different Suras. A verse or a phrase is repeated in a particular order, giving the Sura a harmonious and elegant feature . 3. Surah Ar-Rahman consists of different types of rhetorical devices and it is full of rhetorical devices. The research is an analytical study of the rhetorical features of the Holy Qur’an. Surah Ar-Rahman is chosen for this purpose. It is chosen for the analysis because it is full of rhetorical devices, the prophet Mohammed said that for everything there is a bride and the bride of al-Qur’an is surah Ar-Rahman and it is the only sura in the Holy Qur’an that begins with one of the ninety-nine Names of God in order to teach people that everything that will be subsequently described of His actions, His dominions ,His power all stem from His attribute of mercy and greatness of His beneficence .It is also the only one in which God directly addresses jinn, sentient beings created from fire. It could also refer to three different suras combined in; it is the opening of three chapters if they are combined that are names of Allah [Alif-Lam-Ra],[ Ha-Mim] and [Nun]and if they combined they became [Ar- Rahman]. To find more instances for the analysis, some verses are quoted from the Holy Qur’an. A modern translation of the surah itself was also used as a reference and is included in the appendix- Muhammad Shakir’s (2009) translation of the Holy Qur’an into English. Perhaps the most popular translation, stands as another achievement in this field besides that Pickthall (n.d.) .The transliteration in this research follows the guidelines of the International Journal of Middle Eastern Studies. The research presents a description for the data without presenting interpretation or theories. The data will be classified and analyzed with simple explanations. The primary source for the data is the Holy Qur’an and the secondary source is the linguistic books. Tafsir al-Qurtubi is characterized as a legalistic exegesis with references from Quran itself and from Hadith. The commentary on surah Ar-Rahman spans over thirty pages in Arabic text. Tafsir al- Qurtubi is specifically selected for this study in the hope of presenting different thoughts and discussions about the Holy Qur’an. 
520 |a إن لسورة الرحمن وضعا خاصا في نسق حروفها وألفاظها، وفي تركيب جملها، وأساليبها، كما ولها وضعها الأسلوبي في المعنى والدلالة وتنظيم والكلمات، وترتيب المستوى الفني البلاغي فيها على هذه الطريقة التي خرجت بها هذه السورة الكريمة من الناحية البديعية .فلذلك وجدت أن اقدم في هذا البحث المستوى البلاغي في هذه السورة على أن يشمل المستوى التحليلي في هذه السورة على تحليل الآيات التي تحتوي على الاستعارة، التشابه، التكرار، والتشخيص القران الكريم، الكتاب المقدس للمسلمين، غني بالصور البلاغية انزل القران لإرشاد البشرية. يحاول البحث أن يوضح كيفية تطبيق الوسائل البلاغية في النص القرآني. يشير ديفيد تراس (1979) أن دراسة الصور البلاغية في الدين ربما تزودنا بفهم أفضل لظاهرة قد تكون محيرة أو معقدة في القران الكريم. بعد توضيح نظري للصور البلاغية، سوف يركز البحث على تحليل الصور البلاغية في القران تحديدا في سورة الرحمن. تلخص مشكلة البحث في الأسئلة التالية. ما الآيات التي تشتمل على الصور البلاغية في سورة الرحمن ما أنواع الوسائل البلاغية في السورة وأغراضها؟ يهدف البحث إلى: 1- معرفة الآيات التي تشتمل على الوسائل البلاغية في سورة الرحمن. 2- تطبيق الوسائل البلاغية في الأدب في تحليل سورة الرحمن. 3- تطبيق الصور اللغوية للوسائل البلاغية في القران. هذا التطبيق يزودنا برؤية قيمة تعزز أهداف البحث التي تثبت إبداع اللغة في القران من خلال تطبيق الصور البلاغية للدين. وضعت الفرضيات التالية في البحث: .1القران الكريم مليء بالصور البلاغية . 2.تشتمل سورة الرحمن على وسائل بلاغية متنوعة. هذا البحث هو دراسة تحليلية للميزات البلاغية في القران الكريم. اختيرت سورة الرحمن لهذا الغرض. تم اختيار هذه السورة للتحليل لاحتوائها على العديد من الوسائل الباغية ولان النبي (ص (قال لكل شيء عروس وعروس القران هي سورة الرحمن وأيضا لأنها السورة الوحدة التي تبدأ بأحد أسماء الله الحسنى وحروف كلمة الرحمن هي مجموع لثلاث سور في القران الكريم وهي) الف-لام-راء (،) حاء- ميم ( و(نون). اقتبست بعض الآيات من القران الكريم، لإيجاد امثله أكثر. استخدمت الترجمة الحديثة لمحمد شاكر (2009) للقران الكريم في تحليل السورة كمصدر وضمنت في الملحق. ربما ترجمة بكثال للقران الكريم هي الأكثر شيوعا.اتبعت الترجمة إلى اللغة العربية الترجمة الدولية للشرق الأوسط.يصف البحث ويحلل البيانات دون الخروج بنظريات وتفسيرها مع توضيح بسيط للآيات. أن القران الكريم المصدر الرئيسي في تحليل البيانات وكتب اللغة هي المصدر الثانوي. اعتبر تفسير القرطبي كمصدر في تفسير القران. تم اختيار هذا التفسير في امل تقديم أفكار ومناقشات مختلفة حول القران الكريم.
