المستخلص: Religion in the novels of the revolution, including those written in French, is provided a bright picture, which is a tradition common to all writers. Because it is religion that distinguishes the Algerian, confirms his cultural presence and proves his historical identity.
However, this employment was later disrupted in favor of a wide criticism touching upon the latter and the one representing it. Here, the issue of religion began to gradually disappear from fiction texts, and then a negative picture was provided to it, which pervaded most Algerian literary works, including those of Rachid Boujdara, who rejected religion and its representative.
So, how should the image of the Islamic religion in general and the clergy in particular be manifested? This is what this study seeks to examine.

أُعطي الدينُ في روايات الثورة بما فيها المكتوبة باللغة الفرنسية صورة مشرقة وهي عادة متعارف عليها بين كل الأدباء. لأن الدين هو الذي يميز الجزائري ويؤكد حضوره الحضاري، ويثبت هويته التّاريخية.
لكن هذا التوظيف اختل فيما بعد لصالح نقد واسع مس هذا الأخير ومن يمثله، وهنا بدأت موضوعة الدين بالاندثار تدريجيا من النصوص الروائية، ثم أعطيت له صورة سلبية عمت معظم الأعمال الأدبية الجزائرية ومن بينها أعمال رشيد بوجدرة الذي رفض الدين ومن يمثله.
فكيف تجلت صورة الدين الإسلامي بصفة عامة ورجل الدين بصفة خاصة وهو ما تهدف إليه هذه الدراسة.
